PRIME MUSCLE
If there's one common phrase I've heard over and over among my Prime Muscle peer group, it would have to be this: "If I knew when I was younger what I know now about my body, I would have started working out sooner!" Yep, that pretty much sums it up. (And wouldn't you agree?)
But I'm here to tell you that no matter where you are physically, you can change! You can make a huge difference by just taking that first step toward getting yourself in shape. No matter what your goal is, there's something you can do about it. Right now!
We're about to embark on a journey together. A journey that holds for both you and I a promise of so many things. And let's be frank right up front, some of it just isn't going to be pretty. Yep, you heard me, there will be moments you wish you didn't have some of this information. Perhaps it's because you're going to be sore from the work out you will have done the day before. Or maybe it's because you know that the stretching you're going to be doing may hurt at the moment but man, it sure is going to make it easier to get into that little sports car you've always wanted to sit in. And hopefully, you will finally get up the nerve to go look at. It's all good!
I've decided to start this whole adventure of bringing this information to you on the eve of my 54th Birthday. (OK, so it's a week away, but close enough, right?) And I also have to let you know that I'm in the best shape of my life and get the "eye" from people half my age and more often than not, am asked to share my secrets. Secrets not only of how I am able to keep what I have, but how I seem to somehow continue to improve. Oh, yeah, that also explains the title, PRIME MUSCLE, because my friend, I am definitely in my PRIME and I fully intend to be PACKED with PRIME MUSCLE for the rest of the time I walk this planet.

There aren't words to describe my excitement for what I have in store for you. I've got some ideas, routines and PRIME MUSCLE products that will hopefully inspire you as much as they have me toward achieving the goals you've picked out for yourself. (You have picked out some goals, right?) Example, Bigger Arms, Bigger Chest, Amazing Legs or Enviable ABS. OK, if you're not with me on that "goals" part, I'd like you to take a moment, step away from your computer and take a good, hard, long look at yourself and ask yourself what you'd like to change.
No, really, I'll wait.
Oh, and hold on, I just got talked into doing some quick videos that I'll put on here to help you on your way. (Yeah, my business partner Michelle, can be very persuasive!) So hold on, it's going to be a bumpy ride!
But who doesn't love a BUMPY RIDE? OK, outta the gutter and back to the page, because it's time to get started.

Have you heard of HCG?
OK, folks, one of my closest friend for over 20 years just shocked me into REALITY!I'll be bringing you this story as my ADVENTURE WITH HCG begins!
So, keep posted as I take you on this amazing adventure.
-Feb 14th, 2011- Well, it's been eleven days for me now, on HCG, and I've lost 14.3 pounds. Mostly in my upper gut, you know, the part that makes it so difficult for you when you bend over to tie your shoes? Gotta love that!
And now on the beginning of day 21, I've lost 24.7 pounds and feel great! Oh, and did I mention it's like having a whole new wardrobe? Now that all my old "smaller" clothes fit again!
Too much fun!
UPDATE.....!
Well, folks, it's March 3rd and I've finished the original 23 days with three extra days of the regular diet and no HCG DROPS I'm holding steady at 213.0 pounds, that's a total of 30.8 pounds lost in less than one month. Just started phase #3 yesterday and loving all this food! Wish me luck!
UPDATE: Day 148, July 5th, 2011:
Well, it's been 148 days since I started this whole HCG adventure and my life is better than ever! Have to admit that losing the 30.8 pounds was GREAT but personally, I felt I was too thin and "drawn". I've since added back about 5 pounds of muscle because of my activities at the gym and have stabilized there. Yes, I still weigh myself every day at the same time and have developed a real sense of humor about it. I can actually tell when I indulged myself the day before or had one of those "survival eating" days. You know, where fast food is the only hot thing available as you run through your day.
So, in short, still happy with my results and would do it again in a HEART BEAT!

A PRIMEMUSCLE QUESTION: What intimidates you the most about the GYM?
Is there something that keeps you from the GYM?
I have to tell you, the GYM is like a second home to me. I pretty much put blinders on and just go. But that's not the case for everyone, in fact it appears that many people have some kind of phobia or intimidation factor about the GYM. So I thought I'd put together a little poll and see what most of you think. Hey, this can be fun and it's certainly going to help me to understand where my readers are coming from.
Talk about PRIMEMUSCLE! This is ME at 55!
No matter your age, you can make a change for the better!
Who knew? I mean, did anyone ever say to you they were too old to do anything about your body? Come on, tell me the truth. Because I hear it almost everyday! You know, the "nah, I would only hurt myself and then I'd be much worse off than I am" or the "it's all fine and good for you, but I've got (fill in the blank) wrong with me and exercising would only make things worse!" comments. Or, and I love this one, "I would have no idea where to start!"
Well, I'm here to tell you that there has never been a better time or place to be than right now to start making a change in your body. Just as a side note, I read an article the other day that simply put said, those people who exercise and make an effort to eat right are just plain HAPPIER! Did you hear that, HAPPIER! I could use some happy! Heck, I think this whole wide world could use a big ole dose of HAPPY! But I digress!
I wanted to insert this little bit of info just to let you know that at 54 years old, yes I said 54, I'm in the best shape of my life and actually crave my time at the gym. Or working out, or doing some kind of physical activity where I push myself in one way or another and I'm living proof that if I can do it, so can you!

As you begin this journey toward developing your PRIME MUSCLE, you need to get information from every source available. Take it all in, like a blender in your mind, mix it all up and use what works best for you. There are going to be universal laws that govern how your body will respond to what you're going to put it through. But as you speak to different people, all these laws are going to become very evident. For example, that once you finish working a specific muscle group, you will need to let that group rest. Yes, I said rest. Well, you'll see, so take a listen and become the sponge you need to be and SOAK IT UP!

Have you heard of STAND UP PADDLE BOARDING?
Imagine my surprise when at the beach with my Sister and Brother-In-Law I watched as several people around us showed up with these HUGE surfboards! And when they ran down to the water with them, they didn't just stand up and ride the waves, they had a paddle and started motoring themselves up and down the beach.
I thought, "what the heck is this?"
Needless to say, when I got back to my computer, I found that this is a sport that's been around for over 100 years and boy oh boy, did I feel behind the times! That being said, check out Sevylor Paddle Boards and prepare to be amazed! I was! Am!

Have you noticed any hip issues recently during your workouts?
I've been an Athlete most fo my life and was shocked when my Orthopedist told me over five years ago that I needed a hip replacement. I thought it was something that just needed rest or some extra stretching. But no, not me, it was much more serious. And as I've asked around I'm finding that my personal story is pretty much the same as many others.

- Great lense. My biggest problem is getting my stomach back into shape. It doesn't help that I enjoy a cold one now and then. I have to say that I am really impressed, you have the body of a 25 year old so whatever you are doing is working. Keep up the good work! Mesothelioma Lawyer

- Gym etiquette is a great subject to expound on as so many do NOT know what they are doing there! I read one of your articles on Ezine Articles about this subject and thought it was very well written! Good job! I'll be back soon to check out what else you have to add here.
My husband and I started walking every night. It feels good to be exercising every day and we want to add in strength training in a few weeks.
