EBAY IS LIKE A GIANT TREASURE HUNT
I've had a store on eBay for about 4 years now and love it. The name of my store is VINTAGE MAGAZINES ADS CARDS GIFTS.
I really enjoy the hunt to find great treasures to resell to my customers and I'm thrilled when a customer comes to my store and finds that one particular treasure they can't live without.
I'd like to show you one of my more special treasures and who knows--you may just find something you can't live without it either!
MY EBAY STORY
Now, you knew there would be a story!!
Many years ago I was at an auction trying to buy a certain piece of depression glass I wanted. To purchase it, I had to also take a couple of boxes of old magazines and odd paper pieces.Well, I got my glassware but then when I started looking through the magazines and paper, I was hooked!
I've been dealing in old paper items for almost 20
years now and have never tired of looking and re-discovering each new piece for the history and information it contains.I deal mostly in old magazines-late 1800's to the 1950's, postcards, first day covers, trade cards, old valentines and miscellaneous pieces, though I do have some art books as well.
I hope I never grow tired of working with this area of antiques because there is so much history that needs to be saved for the future. The sad part is that this type of antique is usually looked upon as trash and thrown away.

One of the other things I'm up to my neck in is crafting! Crafting of all types with all kinds of supplies and items.
One thing I use a lot of is my electric candles with silicone bulbs. They look like old candlesticks with a flame burning when lit.

PRIMITIVE ELECTRIC CANDLE WITH SILICONE BULB
It looks like a glowing, flickering candle!
This is one of my very favorite items.It's a primitive, electric candle with a silicone bulb that I've re-worked to have an old appearance. The bulb has a lengthened, curling tip so it looks like a candle with a flame when lit. They come in 3-inch, 5-inch and 7-inch sizes (not measuring the bulb). The 3 inch comes with a steady white glow blub and the 5 & 7 inch come with flicker white blubs.
Electric Candles are a great alternative to the traditonal candle. They can be used where tradional candles are too dangerous or not allowed. These are great in dorm rooms, babys rooms, offices, anywhere a little extra light is needed!
FLORAL PIECES ARE A GREAT PLACE TO HIGHLIGHT THESE CANDLES!
candle in each window on the street side of my home which gives it a very cheery "Welcome Home, Everybody!" appearance.I've used all of the three different sizes of candles in floral design pieces for all of the holidays and for accent pieces in different rooms throughout the house.
You can just let your imagination run wild with these little guys and probably think of dozens of more ways to use them.
