Prince Charles travels to Romania
A 150-year-old five-bedroom house is using Prince Charles in Romania as an isolated holiday retreat, according to a report from the Daily Mail on June 28 2010. The prince will use the property as a guest-house when he is not in residence, the report said.
The property is in the village of Zalanpatak, a settlement founded by one of the prince's Transylvanian ancestors in the 16th century, the report said.
Charles first visited Transylvania in 1998 and has since purchased three properties, including the Zalanpatak house and a 43 pounds-a-night guest-house in the village of Viscri.

Do you know VLAD the IMPALER is Transylvania symbol?
Vlad the Impaler has his origins in Transylvania, Romania
The country entered the EU in 2007, just as many western countries were hitting recession.
An author of the Victorian period, Bram Stoker, became interested in the myth of Vlad the Impaler, that Count Dracula was born. The vampire legend was fed by Vlad's own predilection for eating bread dipped in his victim's blood.
Dracula means "son of the devil" in Romanian.
