This Dad is so Happy with the Sweet Lily Castle

I bought this off Amazon for my 5 year old daughter. It's ALL she wanted for Christmas. We too, set it up the night before, and when she woke up she was so excited about playing in the castle we had a hard time getting her to open her other gifts! We bought a vanity made by a different brand as well as the table and chair set and set it up inside. She has plenty of room. The inside is about 4 feet tall so she can stand comfortably inside, but has to bend a little to get through the doors. No Biggie. It was fairly easy to set up, we followed the directions. This Castle is $199.99 at Toys R Us, so to our delight we got it at a huge discount through Amazon. It takes up a lot of space, but is well worth it if you have a playroom or a good sized bedroom to put it in. The Costume seems to be well made with heavy material and she wore it all day on Christmas with a long sleeve T-Shirt and tights. Too Cute!!!

Disney Princess - Let's Play Castle

Think twice about this line of play tents

The Disney Princess Let's Play Castle sets up instantly with its patented Twist N Fold technology, and stores easily. The tunnel port provides crawl-through fun and the ability to add on other Playhut units.

The split-flap door allows for easy access and hideaway fun. It has breezy "curtains" for the ultimate princess feel.

Created with durable, soft and colorful materials, this playhouse is lightweight and portable. So even though it's much larger than you might expect (it measures 5 feet tall by almost 4 feet across), it's possible to move it from one room to another really easily.

As cute as this playhouse is, beware of the Disney Princess play tents by Playhut. According to people who've bought them, they're not up to the standards of a Disney product. The material is flimsy and the poles that are used are very light and easily broken. One customer said all you have to do is blow on it and it falls over.

It's unfortunate because of all the different choices there are with this same pink, Disney princesses exterior design. The only one that seems to be quite well made is the very high priced one, the Playhut Disney Princess Mega House. Figures, right?

When you look at the average number of stars each one of these has for its review, make sure you look at how many people reviewed it. If only one or two people reviewed it, be careful making a judgement about it.

You should probably stay away from these except for the Mega House version

Build Your Own Pink Princess Tent or Fort

For the princess diy'ers

Create an enchanted nook in any princess's room for reading, playing or sleeping. Use the two pieces of princess fabric to create one large or two smaller "tents."

Thread the enclosed cords through the elastic loops sewn onto the fabric to make endless variations of this princess tent.. Use the clips and suction cups to attach the tent to windows, mirrors, rugs, beds, etc. Once the tent is set up, string the ribbons through the glow-in-the-dark stars and planets and pin them from the top of the tent. Finally, enjoy the glow-in-the-dark magic wands.

Emmi says:
We have used this as a fort, a tent, and an awesome hiding place! Now, we are using it as a puppet show. The pieces are strung across the room (like curtains) and we are going behind them and holding puppet shows! It has been fun and there are so many more uses I'm sure we'll come up with! Enjoy!

Inflatable Castle Tent

How fun is this?

This Inflatable Castle Tent is huge! It's 10 1/2 feet by 7 feet by 4 feet. And since it's inflatable, there's no worries about falling down or broken poles trying to hold it up.

It comes with its own high velocity blower so it'll go from being a lump to a castle in just a few minutes.

A Different Kind of "Tent"

Very budget minded at only $10

This Butterfly Bed Canopy isn't exactly a tent, but it kind of acts like one. Moms who got this for their little girls say that their daughters love going to bed and feel like they are in their own castle tent.

So even though it isn't officially a tent, it gives that cocoon feeling that makes little girls all warm and fuzzy. Plus, the glued on butterflies make her feel like she is surrounded by fairies.

Warning: even though the picture makes this canopy look white, it's actually a bubblegum pink color. Not a pastel pink, but seriously bubblegum pink

Disney Princess Bed Hideout

A cross between a tent and a canopy

You get a 2 for 1 with the Disney Princess Bed Hide-Out. This tent can attach to your little girl's twin bed or you can set it up as a stand-alone tent on the floor.

It'll even connect with other Playhut playhouses with its tunnel port for added fun.

Here's what one mom had to say about it:
"I lay in the bed at night for a few minutes when putting my daughter to sleep. We have to crawl in, but once we're in, it's a huge space. She fits completely inside and she can sit up with room to spare. She and her friend play in there. It's a roomy castle. There are two little windows on each side and a door through the back, I guess the door would be used if we had it as a standalone tent; because it opens up to her headboard."
