Princess Leia Halloween Costume

Leia and her twin brother Luke were born to Padme and Anakin Skywalker. Unfortunately, their father had turned to the dark side of the Force and tried to kill their mother. Luke and Leia were separated; Leia was adopted into the royal house of Alderaan and became Princess Leia Organa.

Groomed to become a senator, she followed in her adoptive father's footsteps. Seeing the corruption and misuse of power by the Emperor and his empire, Leia joined with the Rebel Alliance. Captured by Darth Vader, she watched her home planet of Alderaan destroyed by the Death Star.

After being rescued by Luke Skywalker and Han Solo, Leia safely delivered the plans to the Alliance and helped destroy the Death Star. From there more rebel missions followed. Along the way she fell in love with the smuggler Captain Han Solo. They were separated when Han was frozen in carbonite and taken to Jabba the Hutt.

Vowing to rescue Han, Leia disguised herself as a bounty hunter and went after Han. She succeeded in freeing him, only to be captured by Jabba and forced to be his slave girl. During a battle on his sail barge over the Dune Sea, Leia strangled the monstrous Hutt with her own chains.

Again she followed Luke and Han on another rebel mission, to destroy the field generator that protected the second Death Star. On the planet of Endor she was befriended by Wicket the Ewok. Following revelations from Luke that they were brother and sister, Leia overcame the Imperial forces on the planet and helped destroy the generator.

Later she would marry Han Solo and have three children, continue to work in the new Republic senate and keep having adventures through-out the galaxy.

Remember: You've been raised to follow in the footsteps of your adopted father, a Senator in the Galactic Empire. Your carriage and dress is that of a princess of the royal house of Alderaan. Your biological mother, even though you didn't know her, was a queen of Naboo and a senator herself.

There is an air of authority about you and you demand respect. You also show the proper amount of respect to those above and below you in station.

Deep in your heart you're a rebel. You crave the wild side, adventure, and thrills. You know how to handle a blaster and aren't afraid to take charge when the boys around you don't!
