A Sorta Fairytale
Mute
The Prince Who Lost His Heart.
Mute, having no heart, can only imitate the feelings he is told to. As Princess Tutu returns his heart through the episodes, he becomes more independant. He loves Tutu, though if she tells him she feels the same, she will dissappear in a flash of light. Ahiru/Princess Tutu
The Ballet Princess!
Ahiru, unknown to any but her, Edel-san, and the "Creepy Nutcracker Guy" or Dusselmeyyer, has the ability to transform into Princess Tutu, a graceful ballerina princess destine to save Mute, the heartless prince from the story, "The Prince and the Raven". While battling (balletstyle, of course) against the raven's evil daughter, Princess Kreache (also spelled Clair, but you prounounce it like Ku-rer-ru) and the knight later to help her save Mute, Fakia (also spelled Fakir), She tries to stop others from discovering that she becomes a duck every time she says "Quack", and trying to stop from having to marry her ballet instructor, Neko-sensei (Neko is cat in japanese). Rue/Princess Kreache
The Raven's Daughter!
Fakia
The Knight.
Fakia, at first an annoying, interferring git, actually becomes a good guy in time to help Ahiru save Mute and return his heart, and he ends up with Ahiru (oops, I just spoiled the ending...:(...Well, anyway, He is the one who named Mute (after losing his heart the prince forgot everything about his past), and tells Mute how to act before Mute gets enough of his heart back to be independent. Neko-sensei
A Cat...And A Ballet Instructor!
A slightly creepy humanoid(acting like a human) cat, Neko-sensei (neko is japanese for cat) teaches ballet at the large school in the town of Kinken-chou. He threatens his students with marriage (to him!) if they step out of line. The Feelings
Possessing others.
Pike and Ririe
Ahiru's slightly annoying friends...
Pike and Ririe completely ignore Ahiru's real feelings, and decide anything she says is accually hiding her true feelings. Though Pike thinks Ahiru is crazy, Ririe thinks of her as a delicate hamster, in the sense that she thinks Ahiru is adorable, cluelessly cute, and a worst ballet dancer to the point where it hurts to dance, which is obviously does not. Both are as non-obsurvent as one suffering of hypothermia! Books about Ballet
