Best Resources for Printable Behavior Charts

I have two children and I've found much success by using printable behavior charts. Behavior charts help to give the child feedback on his or her behavior in a visible, tangible way. By giving your child control of the process, you helping him to learn the rules in a constructive way. Behavior charts can be used for training a variety of behaviors, including potty training, getting chores done, completing homework, tidying up and many more.

When choosing a printable behavior chart, select one that is age-appropriate and involve your child as much as possible. Younger children might want to decorate the chart to make it personal. When choosing a chart for an older child, you can use a weekly reward system instead of daily so that your child learns to manage her behavior over the course of a week.

No matter which behavior you are looking to manage, I have listed plenty of resources, tips and information to get you started.

Enjoy!

They do work, it's disciplining ourselves to stick to them. Our eldest son used to bug us to put another sticker on his chart so he could get the prize... this type of chart was a pretty stupid idea. Learnt from it though.
