Printable IOU

Repaying someone for a favor or for doing something nice always demands a return gesture; printable IOU certificates are great for this sort of thing. For me, it is important that I give something back when someone goes out of their way to be helpful or to be kind. One of my favorite "pick-me-up" moments was when my husband saw that I had had a very challenging day with work, meetings and other family obligations. He got up early the next morning, made me breakfast in bed, gave me a 5 minute foot rub and spent the time telling me that he hoped the day would be better for me than the day before. His efforts made me feel calm and loved, and I knew I needed to do something for him when he needed it most. I decided to give him an IOU for a "Dad's Day Off" to be used when he needed to relax and spend time alone.

Printable IOUs can be used for just about anything. Get creative and I hope that some of these resources will be useful to you too!
