Why Do Printable Reward Charts Work?

See why printable reward charts are really great!

Printable reward charts are great for helping your child reach a goal or a milestone. With positive feedback, you can empower your child and actually have him or her look forward to accomplishing a task that you want him or her to achieve!

Include your child in the process by having her decorate the reward chart. If your child is very young, keep the time to reach the goal short, and keep the reward simple. For example, if your child is 3, and you would like her to put her toys back in the bin after each use, reward her at the end of the day for being successful. Since a three year old doesn't have the same attention span as a 5 or 6 year old, a daily reward chart is most useful.

On the other hand, an older child can easily use a weekly reward chart, where the reward comes after a week of doing a certain task. There are many ways to use printable reward charts and you will find them to be extremely effective, in addition to fun for your child!
