This lens is a catalogue of sheet music downloads from my Score Exchange store to help people find what they are looking for in one convenient place.
I am a composer and arranger as well as a recorded singer, and most of my music was available in my Sibelius store, DolcieMuse Publications, which was taken over by Score Exchange recently. The range is quite wide with nearly 200 scores. Some of these are free, others are for sale. They are available to print and there is an iPad app too! The range includes original serious compositions, arrangements and orchestrations of my recorded music. You will find free printable guitar music and technical workouts for classical and electric guitar. I write anthems and church music too. There are also ensemble pieces for orchestra and smaller groups including quite a few folk songs and carols for flute and guitar. This section lists original instrumental music. Some of it is educational, much of it in the rock and jazz genres. Some of it is just original music created for sheer joy of expressing in this idiom. To my sceptical boss, I can't explain why I want to do it when plenty of other people can and already have publisher's contracts - to the artist, creation is its OWN justification. I love doing this work and wish It would be more self financing so I could compose more....

Why do you compose music?
Is there any need to arrange music when other people are selling it?
My boss raised these questions and my response is "Why not?" While other people are out socialising or playing with the apps on Facebook, I prefer to do something a little more personal and creative. I love composing music, composing educational music is also an intellectual challenge I actually do enjoy. Sticking to what is available might be an easy option for some (and at this point I must say I am not allowed to sell to my students, nor do I!) I provide my arrangements free to my pupils, but offer them wider afield for a small fee. It is wonderful to see that my music is performed as far away as Australia and Korea! When it comes to a serious composition it is that much more rewarding to know someone thousands of miles away has rehearsed and performed something that was born in my head and heart. I will be a composer as long as I have ears to hear and the ability to use my software.

- I took liberties with this score to make it easy to play! It is in an easier key and timing has been simplified, but it will work for less experienced players who want to play Bach on fingerstyle guitar.

- An arpeggio study allowing an opportunity for apoyando strokes to emphasize a melody within an arpeggio.

- A lovely melodic piece at an advanced playing level (about grade 8).

- This lovely piece is about grade 6 level but is usually played as though "trying to catch a bus" which loses the very effect Tarrega was out to get with his apoyando technique. Should be slower, and very expressive!

- Robert Burn's classic For Auld Lang Syne arranged for beginner guitar around grade 2 level.

- This is an easy arrangement of the traditional carol made famous by Steeleye Span in the 1970s. A great tune!

- This probably wasn't written by Beethoven but is a lovely piece! I like to think he wrote it for a pretty lady he admired. This is about grade 6/7 level.
