I tried printing Hypatia Quotations Cursive Copywork Pages for my 10 year old and it just printed URL at the top of the page. I'm going to try again. Great Lense.

Found this when it was shared on SquidU. Of course I've heard of all these people's theories but never heard about their lives. Quite interesting! Thanks for sharing.

This was wonderful, I have lensrolled to a lens I wrote about its cool to be a Geek, and many famous people are. Many children are not encouraged enough to go into Math or Science based career paths, but by giving them an opportunity to learn like this is brilliant from a teaching poinbt of view this is a fabulous resource.

Math is more important than people give it credit-I use it just about every day. Thanks Archimedes

Emmy Noether! She was buried in the Cloisters of Bryn Mawr College where she got her PhD. There's a stone that say "EN". I used to pass it on the way to the classics department, which is in the oldest building on campus.

I was hunting for lenses mentioning Hypatia, and discovered a lovely quote of hers here I've never seen before.

This is a great educational lens chock full of fascinating stuff they almost never teach in schools. Kudos!

OOPS. I stand corrected. Dr. Noether was a professor at Bryn Mawr.

Thanks for making my school planning easier! I just printed out notebooking pages for each person so I can have everything ready for next year (well August). Is there a notebooking page for Newton?

:) My dad (a person too) is a mathematician so I grew up hearing about the marvelous Ramanujan who was usually right, though he could not always prove it :) - blessed by a squidangel :)
