The amazing iframe can be used to include a printable coupon in your lens. Don't print the entire page! Just print the coupon.
Click on the printer icon in the next module to see how it prints just the graphics.
Print now! Redeem it! Save money!
Well not really. But you get the idea.
Step 1
You'll want to save this icon:
Copy it to your harddrive, keep the name as "print.gif" to keep it simple. You will then have to upload it to your own webspace (eg: www.yourdomain.com/squidoo)
You'll also need the graphic of your coupon (I trust you've already got that designed and exported as either a jpeg or a gif). In this case we've called it "coupon-lunch-white.gif"
That too has to be uploaded to your webspace.

Step 2
Here's a basic outline of the HTML code that you will need to copy, edit and save. If you don't understand any of it then you'll need to buy the book I've recommended or do a course in Basic HTML.
<HTML>
<BODY BGCOLOR="#FFFFFF">
<DIV ALIGN="RIGHT"><A HREF="javascript:window.print()"><IMG SRC="http://www.yourdomain.com/squidoo/print.gif" BORDER="0" ALT="Print>
</A></DIV><br>
<center><img src="http://www.yourdomain.com/squidoo/coupon-lunch-white.gif></center>
</BODY>
</HTML>
Once you've done that you'll have to upload the page to your webspace. We'll assume again that your website's name is "www.yourdomain.com" and you've put it in the "squidoo" directory. And that you've named it "print.html".
The right tool for the job
Use Adobe Photoshop to design your next killer flyer.
Adobe Photoshop CS2 [OLD VERSION]
Amazon Price: (as of 05/17/2008)
Step 3
<iframe src="http://www.yourdomain.com/squidoo/print.html" frameborder="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" scrolling="no" height="340px" width="100%"></iframe>
The URL in red will of course have to be changed to whatever your URL is. The number in red will also have to be changed depending on how many pixels your image is in height plus allow for about 25 pixels for the printer icon PLUS allowing another 15 or 20 pixels just to be sure.
Step 4
You're done.
Make sure all your graphics and the html page are uploaded, put in the correct URL's, save, PUBLISH and hopefully it works!
