Awaken to a New Freedom of Endless Potential, Passion & Power

Have you ever had a secret that you didn't want anyone to know about? Does the thought of someone finding out, make your pulse quicken, and your heart race. Do you stand paralyzed in fear, or do you explode and attack anyone or anything because you are afraid someone might find out your secret.

Well I know how you feel I was doing the same thing. I was hiding from my greatest fears to. Letting everyone run my life, not daring to step out of line for fear that someone might find out my secret. This sight is about my journey from being a Prisoner Of My Own Beliefs to Releasing all of my anger, hurt, frustration and Embarrassment. To becoming A Public Speaker, Author, and Life Coach and helping others overcome their fears as I did.

As I began to understand how I was thinking and why I was thinking that way, certain thought patterns began to reveal themselves. I could see why I was reacting to different things in my life the way I was and I began to feel the effects they were having on my body and my life.

But realizing is one thing, changing how you think, how you react to something that hurts you, causes you pain, frustration, and embaressment is another. Besides, I didn't have a clue about how to change what was happening to me.

Besides for most of my life, my pain was screaming much louder then my ability to even think about changing it anyway. So I really didn't care about changing even though I knew I would have to change to be happy. I seemed to be quite complacent stuck in my misery.

But as time passed and I gathered more information, learned to read and write, attend seminars, listened to tapes and cd's, always meeting new people with possitive messages, giant hearts, and unwavering wisdom about life, love and prosperity,  I guess I must have grown tired of the internal batte that kept raging in my head.

Because my awakening, my realization of who I had become, came to me one day very unexpectedly when I realized my drive, my passion to learn was more empowering to me then hiding my anger, hurt, fear, frustration, and embarrassment. Changing my life did not happen overnight there were many challenges to face, but buy the time I was aware of how I had changed years had passed and I am finally at peace with myself.

What have I learned from this is.

When people inflict pian on you they are reliving their own, when people try to steal your dreams, they are infact stealing their own.

Those who know and hold their pain and limitations within themselves the deepest, project it with an undaunting and relentless conviction.  For they do not know and they can only feel the limitations of their own pian.

Gary Parent ( The Renegade Dream Builder )

That is why I wrote Prisoners Of Our Own Beleifs.

The title Prisoners Of Our Own Beliefs came to me when I was learning to read and write at age 49 and at age 50 I began to write my first book, Prisoners Of Our Own Beliefs.

It took me six years to write Prisoners Of Our Own Beliefs , While hearing all the words and phrazes,  and seeing the body justures of all thoughs around me telling me I was foolish, crazy, stupid, a dreamer thinking that I could write a book. That six years was increadably challenging but I finally had a manusript but now what do I do with it, so I asked the same people who told me I could'nt do it.

Their responce had not changed you wrote a book well you don't think anyone is going to publish that do you, I mean come on.

Thats when I knew, thats when I got it.

Never ask someone who has abanded their Dreams, how to build yours.

My book was published in 2006 only to hear, you don't really think that anyone is going to buy that do you.

Which taught me this. My greatest strenghts have come in derect responce to my greatest challenges once I figured out how to servive them.

Thats what Prisoners Of Our Own Beliefs is about. It's a simple system designed for people who feel like they don't fit or they just don't get what is going on around them.

I think Kevin Hogan, Author of Psychology of Persuasion, said it best when he said, Theres more then a little bit of wisdom in this book; it's what shakes you to your core.

This book will transform your life. I promise you."

It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Defining Moments

We all have defining moments in our lives. Each one puts us on a new path,a new journey. This path, this journey will do one of two things.

It will etheir crush you or make you stronger.
All of mine crushed me, until I was in an automobile accident in 1979, it was then and is today the single most devastatiing and important event in my life.

It aloud me to stand up inside myself for the first time in my life and face my greatest fear "my belief in myself".

There were to things I always wanted to be in life.
An artist and a writer.

My circle of influence taught me that there was no money in being an artist.
There is, I have been a professional artist sence 1986, and school taught me that when you are a failing student being a writer is impossible.
It isn't.

I found out at age 38 that I am dyslexic so with the realization of that and many, many years of denial I read my first book at age 49 and at age 50 began writing my first book, Prisoners Of Our Own Beliefs.

Thats when I learned to never let anyones opinion of me determine who I was going to be or where I was goig to go.

It is impossible to fail if you never quit.

No Regret, No Retreat, No Surrender
