I've been involved in Real Estate investing and loans for more than 25 years and I've seen it change over and over. In the current market it has become almost impossible to finance deals for everyone, but especially for real estate investors and the irony is that it is actually a very good time to invest in real estate. With the stock market the way it isinvestors are scared to invest.But with the number of foreclosures and short sales, there are lots of bargains available in real estate. People will always need a place to live, so the market will come back and real estate is a better bet than the stock market. But the banks have tightened their guidelines for lending so real estate investors are finding it harder to fund deals. This has created an opportunity for investors who are tired of the stock market. You can be a private money lender.

Private Money Lenders Make Bank
If you are an investor in the stock market you have probably lost money this year. (You are not alone.) Well what if you could instead of losing money, actually make 10-12% on your money and have it secured by a first trust deed? Sound good? Is it risky? Of course there is always a risk with everything, but if done properly, the risk can be mitigated, and you can make a substantially higher return on your money than any stock or bond available these days, with much more safety.

- Thanks for the interesting info. I think that private lending is one area that many people should look into if they can trust the people they are involved with. Do your due diligence, be patient and let someone else do the dirty work of finding the properties, doing the legal work, fixing them up and selling them. YOU be the bank!
