I Love Bottled Water

I love Bottled Water! That is the conclusion I've reached (obviouse) after being involved with bottled water for over 10 years now. I love it so much I even have a web site about it. Guess what it is called. OK it's Bottledwaterstore.com.

There is where I spend my time as the "Watermaster" providing over the 50 brands or so of unique bottled water from around the world that people can buy on-line. Buy on line! Isnt that great? Ten years ago who woiuld have thought that anyone could purchase a bottled water brand from somewhere across the world and have it delivered to there home or office or anywhere? I did. I guess I love bottled water.

Custom Label Bottled Water

I really love the labels on all the different brands of bottled water out there. Some of them are very unique. It didnt take me very long to realize that much of the water brands depend on the label to sell the water (I should have been a rocket scientist).

The best labels sold more water. So I said to myself: What a great idea. I can design labels and sell lots of water - not. It didn't work out fo me because I had no imagination. Fortunately, thousand of other people do have imagination and talent and they create their own private label bottled water. I help them. You see as Watermaster of the bottledwaterstore.com I facilitate the creation of labels based on customer designs and then have the labels printed, applied to bottled water and shipped to them so they can market their business, event, church, party, or just about anything! Some people give out custom label bottled water at their weddings! With their picture on them! Private label bottled water is another major pastime for me. Another very cool thing is to watch a brand of bottled water grow into a major phenomenon. That water is "Smartwater". You know this one. The more you drink the smarter you get. The original bottles had a "Genius" meter printed on the side. It indicated how smart you were getting as you drank the water. Very cute. Smartwater can be found at the BottledWaterStore.com.

"Conflicted Consumer" YouTube Video Corrects Misinformation About Bottled Water

The International Bottled Water Association's consumer website www.bottledwatermatters.com has launched its tenth video, "Conflicted Consumer: To Drink Bottled Water or Not to Drink Bottled Water?" See it at http://www.youtube.com/user/BottledWaterMatters

In this video, a teenaged consumer moves through her busy day at home and in public places bedeviled by anti-bottled water rhetoric and the angelic comfort of fact-based information about bottled water.

"In this lighthearted satire, the consumer finds herself shouldering a lively debate between an angel who states the facts about this safe, healthy, and convenient product and a devil who provides false information about bottled water," said Tom Lauria, IBWA Vice President of Communications. "Our presenter plays all three parts, presenting a humorous yet subtly compelling presentation on the value of bottled water."

The video corrects misinformation about bottled water and sets the facts straight: Bottled water containers are the most-recycled product in curbside recycling programs; bottled water is not the same as tap water; most bottled water comes from natural sources; bottled water is one of the healthiest choices on the grocery store shelf; bottled water is good value price-wise; and tap water isn't "free" as activists like to claim.

"We decided to produce this video because we realize that some of the misinformation about bottled water being spread around may cause some conflict for consumers," Mr. Lauria said. "Consumers need to know the facts. We want them to enjoying drinking bottled water - not feel conflicted by their choice. Once consumers are aware of the facts, they won't succumb to the pressures of misinformation; they will choose clean, refreshing bottled water for their hydration needs."
