I've spent a lot of time looking at time management tools, blogs, and websites, and written my own task management tool. Here's the best stuff that I've found.

New Basic: Text List Module

Software Tools

tasktoy
This is my own application, inspired by "Getting Things Done". Since I wrote it exactly for my needs, I think it's the best thing out there. Maybe you'll like it too. It's free, and doesn't even have ads (just a few affiliate links)
GTDTiddlyWiki
This is a pretty cool program -- it's a wiki designed for GTD that's all stored in a single file, so you can put it on a thumb drive and take it with you.
