Getting a nice decent profit is the main target of all the affiliate marketing article writers. Of course getting noticed, ranked and build a reputable web site are secondary goals but making money is what it is all about.

In the beginning I was very surprised as when I look at every single case, I can see that they have done every thing right but when I took a deeper look I found something quite interesting. I discovered that their problem was in the niche itself. They have chosen a niche that is unprofitable. So, how can we choose a profitable niche?

To be honest every niche is profitable for certain writers that are a fact. But the problem is that some new writers start to hit on niches that have huge competition, obviously these niches have hundreds or even thousands of pages that have similar content so the incidence of your website to appear between this huge numbers is minimized. What you have to do is to start looking for a niche that has less competition because such niches are more likely to accept new competitors in the arena as long as this new competitor is able to stand and defend his rank in the search result page.

You can use software like Google Adwords or other software to determine the competition value of a certain keyword.
