Program to Make Videos

Adobe Premiere Pro

This is a very powerful professional video editing program that you can use. I personally love this software because it provides all those tools that I need to make videos. With today's version which is CS5 and CS5.5, Adobe has added compatibility to the latest video formats such as those from RED and DSLR cameras. It also support videos from other camcorders out there.

Adobe Premiere Pro has been my choice because it is the used video editing program to all the professional video editing that I worked. We were using it when I was working for a TV Broadcast and now that I'm working for events and corporate videos. Almost all of the other professional video editors that I know is also is using this program to make videos.

Final Cut Pro

I'm not a Final Cut Pro user but according to other professional video editors, Final Cut Pro is also a good program to make videos. This is nice specially for mac users. According to reviews, its new version Final Cut Pro X is also powerful in editing videos.

Sony Vegas

I have a friend who is using Sony Vegas and he is saying that this program to make videos work for him well. He said that it has a simpler user interface and it is also more user-friendly compared to Premiere. Of course the price is also cheaper. I can also see a lot of video editors in video forums saying that they are using Sony Vegas in their video editing.

Other Programs

You can also use Avid or Edius as a program to make videos. I also know some professional video editors who are using those programs.

So do you have a choice now? You can actually choose even only one program to make videos that you can use. You just have to master that program and be professional for it. It doesn't matter really if you use a lot programs because they just do the same task anyway.
