Prolapsed Hemorrhoid Treatment, Knowing Your Options Before Seeing a Doctor
My family lost our mother when we were in Junior High and High School, and it was left to my father to provide for us all while I the oldest of 3 children took care of my siblings.
My father was a truck driver for JB Hunt and stayed on the road for extended periods of time, traveling from state to state making deliveries. He worked so hard to support us, but suffered terribly with painful prolapsed hemorrhoids.

Prolapsed Hemorrhoid Treatment and Your Options
Earlier our mother had always taken care of us health wise and urged us (in my Dad's case) and literally took us to the doctor when she thought it was necessary. Now that our mother was not around, my dad just suffered with his prolapsed hemorrhoids.Wanting to help my father, and feeling obligated to take over my mothers position of urging my dad to get help I started searching on the Internet and learning all that I could about prolapsed hemorrhoid treatment.
What I found out was that many people waste their money on doctors for this problem, when there are some simple steps that can be taken at home to relieve this ailment.
Prolapsed Hemorrhoid Treatment, You don't Always Have to See a Doctor
In my information gathering process about prolapsed hemorrhoid treatment I wanted to have all of my information straight and factual when I presented it to my dad. Now this was a somewhat embarrassing subject to talk to your dad about, but if I could relieve his pain it would mean everything to me.Today, there are numerous treatments available, with surgery being the very last resort. Not only are there dozens of prescription and over-the-counter medications that provide hemorrhoid relief, but it is also a common fact that simple time tested things such as warm baths or ice packs can sometimes give you the same results as medications.
Finding the right form of hemorrhoid remedies depends mainly upon the type and severity of the hemorrhoid you are dealing with. For an internal hemorrhoid, relief is best achieved by adding a lot of fiber and water to your diet. For a prolapsed hemorrhoid, relief can be achieved with a simple diet change and/or one of the many topical medications.
Your Options When Seeking Prolapsed Hemorrhoid Treatment
Most doctors will tell you that the very best prolapsed hemorrhoid treatment is prevention - by eating a high fiber/low fat diet, ensuring your anal region is clean, and avoiding straining too hard during bowel movements. Most doctors will agree, however, that when prevention fails (and it often does - some 50-or-so percent of all Americans will develop hemorrhoids at one time or another), following all of the previously mentioned measures and adding warm baths and topical treatments will get rid of most hemorrhoids.
Only hemorrhoids that have been neglected (or have been allowed to worsen because none of the previously described remedies have been used) require surgical intervention. If the best hemorrhoid treatment is prevention, and the second-best hemorrhoid treatment is changing eating habits and applying external remedies, then the last resort is surgery.
Prolapsed Hemorrhoid Treatment Results
So you are probably wondering what the results were from all of my data gathering about prolapsed hemorrhoid treatment and how I presented it to my dad. Sitting down and having a chat was pretty awkward and out of the question for me so instead I bought a guide that had all of the treatments I had found online contained in it.I remember one day as my dad was leaving for a two week trip on the road, I handed him the book and told him read it when he had time. Upon returning he informed me that he had dove into the book that very night and started the treatments right away.
He in fact had immediately felt relief and since following the guidelines, his prolapsed hemorrhoids had started a gradual reduction and his pain had minimized tremendously. Fast forward two years later and my dad no longer suffers from prolapsed hemorrhoids at all, he now refers to me as his angel.
