A Disproportionate Level of Achievement
The official population of Scotland at the time of the last census was 5,062,011. That is considerably less than Greater London alone, so how can we begin to explain the incredible contribution native Scots have made to the worlds of science and literature, to name but two? Could it be something in the water...or the whisky?
I will be featuring on this site a record of some of the achievements of those who have become "Prominent Scots" over the centuries and where possible, providing the necessary links to more informative works. I hope very much that you can appreciate the vast nature of what these people have achieved.

Are You Fed Up Being Ripped Off For Low Quality Branded Merchandise?
Fortunately, there is another way...
The t-shirt pictured right is but one of the many examples of Scottish branded goods which are available to buy online from the comfort of your own home, at substantially lower prices than you would pay in any tourist store. The quality of the items also far exceeds that of many "souvenirs" purchased during a trip which often fail to survive their first washing cycle.Click here to take a look at the shirts, mugs, calendars and lots more available to buy today.
