Promote Your Squidoo Lenses for Extra Traffic

Article Troll is a great place to promote your lenses. You actually get to post two lenses in one submission. You just enter in a little summary of the main lens that you want to promote and then a little one liner about the second lens. Then you can go back and put in the second lens as the first and the first lens as the second. Sound confusing?

Don't be! Honest, it's really easy. Give it a try here:

I have not known about Xomba long myself. I actually came accross it by chance in the lensmaster lounge (we will take a rest here a little later). You post your lenses onto Xomba and as mentioned previously if you have a google adsense account be sure to add the details onto your xomba account. Whilst you are promoting your lenses check out some other links on Xomba which will encourage others to return the favour.

I found out about She Told Me on lensmaster lounge too. This is the other one where you can put in your adsense account and also if you have a chitika account and get a share of the earnings on these that your lenses bring in.

One of the many good points about She Told Me is that they let you put in as many tags as you like to get your lens picked up on Google. Be sure to visit others lenses and give credit where it's due.

I absolutely love Squidom. Why wouldn't I look at the cool banner they provide you with. It takes just a minute or two to promote your lens on Squidom and they give you this cool banner to put on your lens to encourage others to vote for your lens.

Give it try vote for my lens below and check out Squidom at the same time - might as well kill two birds with one stone and make a fellow lensmaster happy' too! :)

Lensroll is another fab place to promote your lenses. It only takes a minute or two to get one of your lenses up on Lensroll, whilst you are there doing it try to check a couple of other lensmasters lenses there and vote them up if they are deserving.

A lot of the time they will return the favour and check out your masterpieces too.

The Isle of Squid is a great place to not only submit your lenses but also to find the 'cream of the crop' so to speak. They screen the lenses submitted and only allow the ones they deem acceptable to stay on their site.

It's a great place to get a link to your lens in, so don't miss out.

Squidup is a another place to promote your lenses. It doesn't take long to promote a lens there. You only need to put in a short description and that's it. I often find myself getting side-tracked at Squidup - there are so many great lenses there. The thing about Squidoo is that you never stop learning so be sure to visit other lenses from lensmasters with tips and of course if they deserve it, vote them up.

I finally got around to checking out Gather, as recommended by Poutine. It looks good, so far. It's easy to use and put your posts on there. It's yet another backlink for your Squidoo masterpieces.

I can't believe that I went so long without knowing about the Lensmaster Lounge, it's a great place to visit. You can ask any question there about creating lenses and even ask for other lensmasters to critique your lens. I have learnt so much in the Lensmaster lounge. Be aware though it is VERY addictive. Be active in Lensmaster Lounge critique other lenses and offer any support when you are able.
