    thanks for the ideas. Is shetoldme still free? I'm not sure, i seem to remember them going paid at some point.

    I use a number of personal blogs to promote my lenses although that is a bit different than what you are talking about here.

    I also promote my lenses and earn Adsense revenue from Best-Reviewer (see my lens http://www.squidoo.com/best_reviewer). You can also blog about your lenses and add them to Squid Blogs (http://www.squidblogs.com).

    I use SheToldMe and Xomba too, occasionally Gather. You have several other sites I didn't know about, I will check them out. More backlinks are always good to have.

    Your lens is sooo good. I learned a lot just by reading it. I had forgotten about Xomba, but your lens is a good incentive to check it out again!

    I gave up submitting them to Stumble Upon as it never resulted in views. S.U. works great for my blog, but doesn't seem to like Squidoo. I put mine on Zimbio and Redgage.

    I use Snipsly, Infopirate and Squidstop to promote my lenses. Sometimes hubpages too. The more backlinks the better

    I use redgage, you can write a little blog post in there, add your links in that post and you will get backlinks. Plus you can share photos too and earn money at the same time. I use them mostly to share pics because I do get lots of click on them, but the backlink is great as well.
    The bad point is that the site is VERY confusing at first, so if you have a question you can ask me:)

    You have a great list going here of places to Promote Your Squidoo Lenses. I like LinkedIn, Posterous and Squidoo Marketing, too.

    I added some links to the Article Troll this morning, and plan to try out some of the other sites you mentioned as well! Also, I've just added your lens (Promote Squidoo Lenses) to my lens Is Squidoo For You? because I really found your lens to be so very helpful! Thank you!!

    wow, so cool methods to promote my lenses, I just have a doubt about the isle of squid, how do I know my lens has been accepted by their community?

    How about Gather?

    Since joining Gather and posting there a lot, I have increased my traffic to Squidoo
    and will continue to improve, I'm sure.
