Other Promotion Methods
- "Tweet" (post an update on Twitter) the URL to the video's page on Revver.
- Use the sharing icons on Revver to post the video to your Facebook page -- this won't embed it on Facebook, but it makes it easy for people to click over to view your video.
- Create a blog and post a new blog entry for each video, linking to (or embedding) the video in the blog post.
- Download the QuickTime versions of your videos, and share them using BitTorrent. (Watch this video for a quick demo of how this works.)
- If you have a non-blog Web site, find or create pages where embedded videos would work, and embed them there.
As always, send me your ideas for other ways to promote your Revver videos!
Don't Forget RSS!
Revver gives us RSS support, so we might as well use it! Plus, it includes support for affiliate codes, so you can create RSS feeds for collections of videos created by you and/or other people and still earn money from them. Here's an example:

Good idea for a lens, Revver should get more exposure. There really are so many social media opportunities for video promotion.
Some ideas generally: You can use Lifestreaming services like Lifestream.fm and friendfeed.com to promote video posts automatically via RSS.
Aggregate your video RSS feeds in a Tumblr.com blog.
Web widgets like bitty.com or Grazr.com and koollage.com are also good video distribution tools.
See my "Widget Finder" lens for more widget platforms. My "Viral Video Directory" lens also highlights tools for publishing, sharing and tracking videos online (via profile link).
5 stars and added to my related lensrolls.
Upgrade your camcorder, cheap!
Somebody else's used camcorder may be an upgrade to what you have now, and they may be willing to sell it at a price far less than what you'd pay in a store.
