Promotional Jackets Buyers Guide

Promotional jackets are a great form of marketing, advertising, and branding. Not only is a customized jacket a great way to show off a company's name or logo, but it is also a great way to show staff members and customers that you appreciate their business. Jackets are the gift that keeps on giving and branding.

Everyone from celebrities to companies can use a customized jacket to promote their goods and services. Films often come out with embroidered jackets so that people will start to recognize the film's name and will want to see it before they even know what it's about. A llogo jacket, when worn, is something that is bound to be seen.

When choosing which jacket to go with, you want to think about the kinds of people you plan on giving them to. So, if you are in warm Los Angeles you might want to go with windbreakers rather than ski jackets. Think about the weather: You want these products to be as useful as possible so that people want to wear them as often as possible. A logo jacket is only a good investment if someone wants to wear it.

And of course, giving the gift of a promotional jacket is a great way to either crank up a company's morale or to show customers you appreciate them. This in turn will result in positive word of mouth buzz, we all know that this an invaluable form of publicity and marketing. Think about it: If you give people a jacket because they saw a film, bought a product, attended an event, or because they work for the organization giving out the jacket, they will feel valued. This can really help a team of people bond and form loyalty, and it can result in customers spreading the good word about you.

Quick Tips for Logo Jacket Buyers

When it comes time to order a logo jacket, think about what you want the jacket to look like. Here are some common things to consider:
  • Material & Quality: Buy jackets that will be worn. name brands, leather jackets are a good bet.
  • Embroidery: Costs a bit more, it's priced by number of stitches. Do you already have your logo digitized? If not this can cost a bit more, but you can reuse it. MAKE SURE you get the right company to digitize for you, cheaper is not better here. It determines how good your logo looks on anything you stitch later.
  • Silkscreening: Pretty much the gold standard for imprinting anything. It requires a different screen made for every color you want, which can add to the setup fee. If you have a lot of colors embroidery might be a better option for you.
  • Other imprint methods: There are other methods like sewing on a patch, and a host of other ways to customize a jacket. It just depends on who you order them from as to what your options are. I prefer embroidery myself, once your art is digitized it's really easy to repeat on almost any type of material.
  • Colors: You can get several different colors and have them all imprinted at the same time, saving on costs. Just be careful that you don't order a color that does not go well with your logo.
  • Sizes: Same as above, order several different sizes and have them printed at the same time. Be aware that sizes above XL like 2XL are typically more costly.
  • Styles: Pick what you think everyone would like to wear, choose according to the weather of your audience.
  • Price: Windbreakers are cheap, leather jackets are the nicest. It really depends on what you want to spend per impression, and how big you want that impression to be.
