First Impressions Count
Promoting a company or brand can be achieved in many ways and there are a variety of promotional items available but it has to be said that given their visibility, mobility and longevity, Promotional Clothing provides one of the most efficient and value-for-money methods of advertising.
Promotional Clothing can be issued as giftwear to clients or distributors, provided to staff as part of an incentive campaign or form the basis for a range of branded merchandise but no matter what the aim or intended use, one thing is paramount - creating the right first impression.
First, make sure to allow enough time to organise your promotion - like most things in life, poor preparation will only result in a poor outcome, so give yourself the chance to get things right and don't order your clothing at the last minute.
Next, choose a garment of a reasonable quality that will be appropriate to your target audience - because the more attractive & useful the Promotional Clothing is to them, the more it will be worn by them and the more effective the promotion will be in advertising your brand.
Ensure that the promotional garments you select are available in a suitable size range and in colours that are fashionable for clothing worn by your target audience. Do remember though that fashions change and ask yourself whether the colour that's 'En Vogue' today will be fashionable tomorrow, otherwise your Promotional Clothing may have a shorter life than you intend.
There are a vast range of garments available from stock, designed and manufactured with promotional purposes in mind but if you cannot find something that fits the bill and you have sufficient time and volume to warrant it (usually 500 or 1,000pcs per colour), then you may instead wish to consider having clothing manufactured bespoke; in which case the number of options are only limited by your imagination and the viability of production (something that needs to be discussed early on with your supply partner).
When it comes to branding, consider the promotional message and ask your supplier for advice on which method is right for the clothing items you have in mind. The usual options are print or embroidery but with the exception of T-Shirts most items are now embroidered and embroidered promotional clothing tends to look better because the embroidery adds a certain element of quality.
Packaging of your clothing should also be right for the promotion and there are several methods you can choose, from simple bulk packing (loose in a box), to individual bagging and even bespoke wrapping - all depending on your promotional aims, timescale and budget.
Finally, choose a professional supply partner that you can rely upon to deliver your Promotional Clothing correctly finished, in a timely fashion and at a price that's right for you. Someone that will help create the right first impression for your company or brand.
