Promotion of Croatia on Twitter

Croatian promotional project called Why Croatia? has been initiated by a group of volunteers who are active on internet but also has been active on Facebook and Twitter for a while. In basics, project has been thought out as a video competition of clips which present the best of Croatian tourist offer. People even went through trouble of finding sponsors for this action! (Well done!) All clips published so far can be viewed if you click on following banner:

I know I am! :) You're Croat (or not! as nobody says that only Croats can promote Croatia) and you would like to help out in promotion of Croatia since you live there and you think it's best country for holiday, or you visited Croatia and it remained in good memory? You are not very good in making movies so this competition isn't something you would like to be part of? That still doesn't mean you can't help in promotion of Croatia!

Here are few ideas how you can promote Croatia (without spending any money!):

1. If you run a blog make a post about places in Croatia you have visited and describe your best memories....

2. If you have on-line store, add few items with Croatian theme...

3. If you're member of Facebook or some other social network, upload your pics and share them and your experiences with your friends...

4. Make a Squidoo lens on this theme! There are not many of us here but even one of my friends from Cyprus made a very good quality lens about skiing resorts in Croatia (OK, he didn't go over summer but on winter vacation!)...

5. If your English is good, make a promotional article on Hubpages, eZineArticles or some other web site...

6. With whom ever you talk, specially with foreigners - on work or privately, always speak well about beauty and other aspects of Croatia!
