What is Creative Real Estate Investing?

What is creative real estate investing? The definition from Wikipedia states creative real estate investing is a term used to describe non-traditional methods of buying and selling real estate.

There are several non-traditional or "creative" real estate strategies such as owner financing, wrap-around mortgages, assignment of mortgage payments, subject two financing, and combinations of these with other strategies that offer Sellers with little or not equity the opportunity to sell their property fast.

Traditional real estate works for many, but it typically takes a long time, and can be very expensive.
