Reading and understanding Bible prophecy can be very challenging. Referring to other sources for interpretation is helpful but be careful. There are many people who interpret and teach Bible prophecy but who can you trust?

I listen to radio shows, podcasts, watch videos and read material from many Bible prophecy experts and teachers. I have my favorites but I do not follow any one teacher as the sole expert and final word on prophecy. I no longer listen to anyone who teaches about the false doctrine of "pre-tribulation" rapture. No where in the Bible does it say the Church of Christ will be taken before the last trumpet which is just prior to the return of Jesus.

Many of the so called prophecy teachers and experts today have in fact been incorrect about their interpretations of Bible prophecies including the timing of the rapture. It is not a sin to be incorrect but if they are wrong and they do not acknowledge an error and correct it, then that should be considered blatantly misleading the flock!!

It is wise to always read what the Bible says and trust what God says first, not man! But more importantly, you must pray for "wisdom and discernment". If you continually pray for God to give you wisdom and fill you with the Holy Spirit then YOU will be able to recognize the truth when you hear it, see it and read it. In fact God gives us all the ability to be a prophet through prayer and fasting. You will get the answers directly from God Himself!

Let me say emphatically that God does NOT want to destroy America! He wants us to turn away from the sinful and immoral life we live. He wants our government to go back to it's origin of "In God We Trust". Our nation was founded on moral principles. Our "Replulic" was established on moral foundations. WE HAVE TAKEN GOD OUT OF EVERYTHING AND WE ARE NO LONGER MORAL!

God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. He does not change and His word does not change. Why would He hold us to any less of a standard than He ever did for any other peoples at any other time as recorded in the Bible? Read about the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and why God flooded the earth in Noahs time. The Bible says clearly "as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man." (Matthew 24:37, Luke 17:26).

Bible scholars agree that the books of Revelation, Jeremiah and Isaiah ARE referring to America when they reference "Babylon". Watch the video series below that will help you see how the Bible prophecies in the scriptures relate to America.

Jeremiah 23:
19-Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.
20-The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.


Jeremiah 51:
8- Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.
9- We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.
10- The LORD hath brought forth our righteousness: come, and let us declare in Zion the work of the LORD our God.
11- Make bright the arrows; gather the shields: the LORD hath raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes: for his device is against Babylon, to destroy it; because it is the vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance of his temple.
12- Set up the standard upon the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong, set up the watchmen, prepare the ambushes: for the LORD hath both devised and done that which he spake against the inhabitants of Babylon.
13- O thou that dwellest upon many waters, abundant in treasures, thine end is come, and the measure of thy covetousness.
14- The LORD of hosts hath sworn by himself, saying, Surely I will fill thee with men, as with caterpillers; and they shall lift up a shout against thee.
15- He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his understanding.


Isaiah 18:
1- Woe to the land shadowing with wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia:
2- That sendeth ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of bulrushes upon the waters, saying, Go, ye swift messengers, to a nation scattered and peeled, to a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden down, whose land the rivers have spoiled!
3- All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains; and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye.
4- For so the LORD said unto me, I will take my rest, and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.
5- For afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and take away and cut down the branches.
6- They shall be left together unto the fowls of the mountains, and to the beasts of the earth: and the fowls shall summer upon them, and all the beasts of the earth shall winter upon them.
7-In that time shall the present be brought unto the LORD of hosts of a people scattered and peeled, and from a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden under foot, whose land the rivers have spoiled, to the place of the name of the LORD of hosts, the mount Zion.


Why would God allow the destruction of America by her enemies and natural disasters?

Romans I: 18-32
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed [it] unto them.

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified [him] not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

There is a prophecy in the book of Revelation that describes world war III. What these scriptures are telling us is that there will be a war that will start near the Euphrates river, which runs mostly through Iraq and empties into the Persian Gulf. The USA already has over 150,000 troops in Iraq today. This war will kill one third of the worlds population. That is about 2 billion people!

Revelation 9: 14-18

"Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. And the number of the army of the horsemen [were] two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses [were] as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. "

Here are some ways you can test the spirits:

1- Pray directly to the Lord and ask Him for "wisdom and discernment" and to not let you be deceived. That is one reason He gives us His Holy Spirit! We are to trust in the Lord first above all men!

2- Read the Bible to see what the Bible says about it. A very excellent tool are Bible websites where you can insert a keyword and the results show you all the scriptures that contain that word or phrase.

3- Do an Internet search using keywords like "false" in front of your main keyword search to see what the results are. Remember, there are a lot of opinions and they are not all true. Your Holy Spirit discernment will have to lead you in that regard as well!

Are modern day prophets real? Are their messages really from God? You bet they're real, but NOT All are, So you have to TEST what they say against Bible scripture. You must be very cautious about believing anyone who claims to be a prophet because the Bible says that MANY will come in the last days claiming to be from God. Read my section above about how to test if they are from God. Reading and understanding what the Bible says is very important so you will not be deceived.

Heed these warnings in the Bible:

"and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people." (Matthew 24:11)

"For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect-if that were possible." (Matthew 24:24)

There are many who CLAIM to be prophets from God and prophets do play a very important role. If you study the true prophets of God from the Bible you will find that the ministry of the prophet was and still is primarily to call the people back to the right relationship with God. When the people went astray, the prophet was there to expose their apostasy, deliver a sometimes stinging rebuke and call for them to repent. God uses his prophets to warn, instruct, teach and minister to his people. They serve and perform very important missions.

"We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake [as they were] moved by the Holy Ghost. (2 Peter 1: 19-21 KJV)

It is also very important not to ignore or mock a true prophet of God.

"And the LORD hath sent unto you all his servants the prophets, rising early and sending [them]; but ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear." (Jeremiah 24:4 KJV)

When prophecies are revealed and they do not come to pass when told, keep in mind God does delay judgments so more people can come to repentance.

"The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. [2Peter 3:9]

As to prophets who set dates and those prophecies NEVER came to pass, well that speaks for itself!

Know this for sure, God will never change what is already written in the Bible.

There are hundreds of prophecies in the Bible about Jesus. Using the science of probability, the odds of these being a coincidence has been ruled out. Many of the Old Testament prophecies were written 500, 700 and 1000 years before the birth of Christ! I find it fascinating that the people of that time had access to all the Old Testament prophecies about the Messiah including where He would be born, and still they did not see it! Amazing!

-Descendant of Abraham:

Genesis 18:18 "Abraham will surely become a great and powerful nation, and all nations on earth will be blessed through him."

Acts 3:25 "And you are heirs of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers. He said to Abraham, 'Through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed.'"

-Descendant of Isaac:

Genesis 17:19 "Then God said, 'Yes, but your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.'"

Matthew 1:2 "Abraham was the father of Isaac, Isaac the father of Jacob, Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers.

-Descendant of Jacob:

Numbers 24:17 "I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near. A star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will rise out of Israel."

-Will descend from the tribe of Judah:

-Place of birth to be Bethlehem:

Micah 5:2 "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times."

Matthew 2:1 "After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod..."

-Will be born of a virgin:

Isaiah 7:14 "Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: the virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel."

Matthew 1:18 "This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about. His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit."

-Will escape into Egypt as a child:

Hosea 11:1 "When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son."

Matthew 2:14 "So he got up, took the child and his mother during the night and left for Egypt."

-Will minister in Galilee and along the Jordan River:

Isaiah 9:1-2 "Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress. In the past he humbled the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the future he will honor Galilee of the Gentiles, by the way of the sea, along the Jordan--The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned."

Matthew 4:12-16 "Jesus...returned to Galilee. Leaving Nazareth, he went and lived in Capernaum, which was by the lake in the area of Zebulun and Naphtali--to fulfill what was said through the prophet Isaiah: Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, the way to the sea, along the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles--The people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned."

-He will be rejected by the Jewish people:

Isaiah 53:3 "He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not."

John 1:11 "He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him."

-Character of wisdom and understanding:

Isaiah 11:2 "The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him--the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord."

Luke 2:52 "And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men."

-The time of his entry prophesied to the very day:

Daniel 9:25-26 "Know and understand this: From the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven 'sevens' and sixty-two 'sevens.' It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble. After the sixty-two 'sevens' the Anointed One will be cut off and will have nothing."

This prophesy refers to weeks of years, or 483 biblical years. Beginning with the exact day on which Persian King Artaxerxes gave the decree to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem (March 14, 445 BC), exactly 173,880 days later--Palm Sunday, April 6, AD32--Christ rode into Jerusalem the week before he was 'cut off' (crucified). This is the precise number of days spanning 483 biblical years, which were then measured as 12 months of 30 days each.1

-Betrayed by a close friend:

Psalm 41:9 "Even my close friend, whom I trusted, he who shared my bread, has lifted up his heel against me."

Mark 14:10 "Then Judas Iscariot, one of the Twelve, went to the chief priests to betray Jesus to them."

-He will be sold for thirty pieces of silver:

Zechariah 11:12 "I told them, 'If you think it best, give me my pay; but if not, keep it.' So they paid me thirty pieces of silver."

Matthew 26:15 "And asked, 'What are you willing to give me if I hand him over to you?' So they counted out for him thirty pieces of silver."

-Silent when accused during his trial:

Isaiah 53:7 "He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth."

Matthew 26:62-63 "Then the high priest stood up and said to Jesus, 'Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you?' But Jesus remained silent. The high priest said to him, 'I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God.'"

-He will suffer for others:

Isaiah 53:4-5 "Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed."

Matthew 8:16-17 "When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick. This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: 'He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases.'"

-He will be crucified with sinners:

Isaiah 53:12 "Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors."

Matthew 27:38 "Two robbers were crucified with him, one on his right and one on his left."

-His hands and feet will be pierced:

Psalm 22:16 "Dogs have surrounded me; a band of evil men has encircled me, they have pierced my hands and my feet."

John 20:27 "Then he said to Thomas, 'Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.'"

-Will be mocked and insulted by the people:

Psalm 22:6-8 "But I am a worm and not a man, scorned by men and despised by the people. All who see me mock me; they hurl insults, shaking their heads: 'He trusts in the Lord; let the Lord rescue him. Let him deliver him, since he delights in him.'"

Matthew 27:39-40 "Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads and saying, 'You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, save yourself! Come down from the cross, if you are the Son of God!'"

-His side will be pierced with a spear:

Zechariah 12:10 "And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son."

John 19:34 "Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus' side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water."

-He will be resurrected after his death:

Psalm 16:10 "Because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay."

Matthew 28:9 "Suddenly Jesus met them. 'Greetings,' he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him."

-He will ascend into heaven:

Psalm 68:18 "When you ascended on high, you led captives in your train; you received gifts from men, even from the rebellious--that you, O Lord God, might dwell there."

Luke 24:50-51 "When he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, he lifted up his hands and blessed them. While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven."

Now is the time to establish or renew your relationship with Jesus Christ! Please know that we are told in the Word of God that ""except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God"
(John 3:3).

Father, I know that I am a sinner and cannot obtain salvation in and of myself. I come to you in the name of Jesus asking that you forgive me of my sins
and cleanse me from all guilt and unrighteousness.

I trust and believe that Jesus died and rose again to pay my sin penalty. I accept this free gift of salvation, and from this day forward I repent of all sin and turn my life completely over to the Lord. I thank you and praise you God for giving me a new life in Christ. Amen.
