Prospect KY Homes and Schools

Since the wind storms that caused school to be out for an entire week, the Oldham County Board of Education has decided to take away a teacher pd day and have the students at school this coming Friday 9/26/08.

There are several award winning schools in the Prospect area. There are 3 Elementary Schools, Goshen at Hillcrest, Harmony and Liberty.

In addition, there is North Oldham Middle School and North Oldham High School.

The most recent results of the Kentucky State accountability tests shows Oldham County as the highest county district in the state with the combined 2005/2006 Accountability Index of 94.9, an increase of 1.8 points over the Combined 2004-2005 Accountability Index.
Several schools in Oldham County continued to push toward higher scores by reaching the state goal of 100 well in advance of the 2014 deadline. The Combined 2005-2006 Accountability Index for Centerfield Elementary (101.5), Goshen Elementary (107.10), Liberty Elementary (109.5) Buckner Elementary (100.20) and Harmony Elementary (101.50) all exceed the mark."
