I am sorry for not having updated this lens since a long time but I was very busy creating and uploading my new website.

This time it is a site dedicated to Halloween; which is obviously called Happy Halloween!

Within three days, the site has been (and is still) indexed by Google and positioned in #3 for the keyphrase "The Monster Mash Video".

It also has been positioned in positions #4 up to #40 for several different keywords and phrases like Plus Size Halloween Costumes, Sexy Halloween Costumes, etc. But it did not remained a long time.

The site receives a nice number of visitors each and every day and earns some money through Adsense clicks.

I am currently busy writing articles for the Happy Halloween! and also asked to my sister to write a Halloween Mystery for the site.

My sister is a professional writer and her first book should have been published but she is little lazy and has not yet corrected the tests. I hope that she will write this Halloween Mystery as fast as possible!

Last week, I reached $100 in Adsense Earnings ; which means that I reached my first goal concerning Google Adsense.

One year ago I started to create websites and did not know a single thing about HTML, PHP, how to create a site, getting a web host account nor about Google Adsense.

The very first site I created was "European Love History". I even did not have my own web hosting account - this site was hosted by Cashhosters (the MPAM web hosting). It will be transfered soon to my current web hosting and on my own domain name.

I have never improved the website and if you visit this site, you will see that it still looks "amateur". Will have to work a little bit on this site.

During November 2006, I've subscribed to JP Schoeffel's Ethical Marketers' Club and learned a lot on how to drive traffic to a site ; but it took me some months to succeed in applying his methods to my business because I did not control the HTML and the PHP yet and I had to mix these methods with MPAM's methods.

Moreover, my monther tongues are French and Dutch so, it was not easy for me to quickly understand all I learned since all the explanations were in English.

I applied all these methods when I built "Christmas Time" website and the "Christmas Time newsletter" and then I finally earned my first Adsense cents ;-)

Some months later, while I am still learning, I have more websites which receive only targeted traffic.

What I have done is... compile MPAM, JP Schoeffel's methods and all what I learned since one year (ebooks, reports, blogs, etc.) and adapted them to my way to work ; which is the way that a person who cannot spend all the time on a computer because of working outside too, can work the Adsense business.

This is the way of work of a person who starts from zero.

And that is what I have written in my report called "How To Create An Income Earning Website In 30 Days". Because, when you know how it works in reality and by following the 30 days lessons included in this report, you really earn money within 30 days.

For some time, several webmasters talk about "Silo Structure" and "LSI - Latent Semantic Indexing".

All these people seem to be experts in this domain but, what the hell are these "Silo Structure" and "LSI - Latent Semantic Indexing"?

If you have read my report on how to create an income earning website in 30 days, you know that earning money through Adsense requires a lot of work.

But there are some other easiest ways to create your websites and earn money through Adsense.

Firstly, you should read JP Schoeffel's "Silo Report" (right click and "save as").

This report will help you to learn what are "Silo Structure" and "LSI - Latent Semantic Indexing" are.

Here are the definitions of these two items:

"Silo Structure"

A silo is a group of web pages with content that strengthens (rather than hurts) your theme relevance.

These silos are linked together in a linear way to reinforce the theme.

Simply and quickly explained, a "Silo Structured Site" is a site where each category is connected to a main page.

For example, if your niche subject is "car", you will create several different categories such as:

buy used car,
car rental,
car dealers,
cars auctions,
cars accessories,
electric cars,
hybrid cars, etc.

Each one of these categories will be a complete site (people who look for "car auction" will never type "car rental" in any search engine; so, the importance of having a complete site for each keyword).

And each one of these sites will be connected to a main page which will contain the list of the sites related to your niche subject "car" and to which you will be able to add the product that you sell, your opt-in form, etc.

"LSI - Latent Semantic Indexing"

Latent semantic indexing, is a Google driven creation that's meant to better gauge the content of a web page in relation to the entire site to discover the overall theme. It is a more sophisticated measure of what sites and their pages are all about.

Google's current ranking system was set up to scan for relevance and quality. In the process, it has a habit of knocking new sites and those which add too much content too quickly.

Latent semantic indexing is meant to scan the overall theme of a site, so as not to penalize those sites that have fresh, relevant and good content even if they do happen to pop up over night. In essence, latent semantic indexing is meant to give a searcher the best possible site to meet their needs based on relevant keywords and comprehensive coverage and not just incoming links.

If you want to rank high on Google these days, you then have to simply create perfectly-structured, highly-optimized, silo pages...

I have to be honest, I do not create all my websites by myself.

And while I take an eye on my Google Adsense account each and every day, I've never really monitored what site earns me the more money: I do not promote some of these sites; since I do not write in good English I am unable to write good articles on subjects like bankruptcy, home mortgage, divorce, etc.

These kind of sites receive only targeted traffic coming from searches that people make on Google, Yahoo and MSN.

This week and because I was updating my Christmas Time website, I reviewed my Google Adsense account and noticed that the sites that earn me the most money are JP Schoeffel's sites.

If you do not know JP Schoeffel, he is the owner of the "Niches In A Box".

Niches In A Box is a membership site where members receive up to 15 Silo Structured websites per month and many other tools and advantages.

But that is not - yet - the subject of this post.

For example, I have a site about Divorce. This is a JP Schoeffel creation. This site earns me up to $3 a day with Google Adsense! And I do not promote this site! I even have never submitted its sitemap to Google! Imagine how much this site could earn me if I could write 5 or 10 articles dedicated to Divorce and by submitting them to the articles directories. Moreover, by submitting a press release!

What does that mean? That means that this site has been included in Google, Yahoo and MSN directories by itself; naturally and automatically. And surely because it is silo structured!

Take a look at the Divorce site and you will probably understand what "Silo Structured" means. This site is one of the free sites JP offers to his customers and affiliates. It is a "basic" site. The sites that Niches In A Box members receive more professional look! You can see some examples here.

I am really convinced that if my site receives traffic without having been promoted it is because it is a Silo Structured site.

You are going Adsense because it is free and it earns you money. Who can say that, in other businesses, they can earn money by never spending a single cent?

You do not need to have a website to use Adsense: you can start your Adsense business with a blog. But the more sites you have and the more you use Google Adsense on them, the more money you will earn.

Start by blogging, one post each day, nothing really important, just your opinion on something or your thoughts of the day.

Place referral buttons on your blog and earn money referring others. When someone you referred to Google Adsense earns his first $100 within 90 days and is eligible for his payout, you also will receive $100!

The Adsense codes are easy to place on your pages: they are already formatted. You only have to choose the language and the kind of ad you want to display. Copy the code and paste it on your page. That's it.

Will your site be approved for Adsense program? Yes, if you site does not:

Adult content, pornography...

Promotes weapons...

Contain illegal content...

Contain ads for beer, liquor or tobacco products,

Promotes hate or racist attitudes,

Promotes gambling, drugs, prescription drugs...

A good guideline to go by might be if a site is family oriented.

Check the Program Policies for more information.

Google Adsense offers multiple payment options:

- By Electronic Funds Transfer

Google will transfer your earnings directly to your bank account ; this is the fastest way to be paid by Google. First of all, verify that your country is available. Be also sure you have all your bank account information (account number, payment address, IBAN, etc.) ; click on "my account" ; "edit" ; "add new bank account" ; click "continue", provide your details then click on "save changes".

Google will test your account by sending cents and you will have to verify this amount through your Google Adsense account once received: click on "my account" ; "payment details" ; "verify this account" ; enter the amount received and then click "next". Your bank account will be verified and approved.

- By check

If you ask that your earnings are mailed to you in your local currency.

Log into your Google Adsense accound and click on "my account" ; "modify my payment details" ; activate "check-standard delivery" ; select your currency (if available) and click on "register".

You will receive your check 2-4 weeks after request.

- Secured Express Delivery

The check will be delivered by a transport service and delivered within 10 business days.

Log into your Google Adsense account, click on "my account" ; "modify my payment details" ; activate "Secured Express Delivery" ; select your currency (be sure that your currency is available) and then, click on "register". That's it.

Your Adsense earnings are paid once you reach $100,00 in earnings.

When you are close to reach $50 in Adsense profits, Google Adsense informs you that you will receive a discrete postcard containing an identification number.

This procedure is a safety that Google created to protect its editors.

As of this moment, the payments will be blocked until you receive this postcard and will have entered your PIN code in the PIN box of your Google Adsense account.

"Payments blocked" does not mean that you will not continue to earn money thanks to the clicks on your Adsense blocks.

When you receive the postcard, open it and log into your Google Adsense account. Click on "my account" and then on "add my code" and insert your PIN.

That's it!

You are now assured that you soon will reach the $100 minimum earnings and will be paid by Google Adsense.

The more sites you have, the more money you will earn by displaying Google Adsense ads on them.

You do not even have to notify Google of the new sites.
However, ensure you that your new sites comply with Google Adsense Program Policies.

The same rules apply when you add an Adsense search box on your sites.

As soon as you log into your Google Adsense account, you can read your report page. The first earnings that are showing are "today's earning". On this page, you can choose to have a look at different reports: Adsense for content, Adsense for search, Adsense affiliate program...

Let's talk about "Adsense for content" report ; you may choose your today's report or report for this month. The first column represents the date. The second one shows you the number of page impressions, which is not always the same as the number of page views.

The third column shows you the number of clicks your ads received.

Column number 4 is the page CTR (click through rate) and is showing a percentage that represents the percentage of the time someone clicked an ad after viewing your page.

The fifth column is the page eCPM (effective cost per 1,000 impressions) and is calculated by dividing total earnings by the number of page impressions in thousands.

At the bottom of this report you will find the total of your earnings for the day or the month and the daily average of your earnings.

If you want to view detailed info about the performance of your Adsense blocks, you will have to use Google Ad Channel.

If you created an Adsense empire and thus have multiple sites, you will want to know which one of them generates the most clicks. In order to create a Google Ad Channel, log into your Google Adsense account and click on "manage ads".

Then click on "Adsense for content" and start chosing the desing of your blocks until you will see "manage channels". In this slot, you will type domain name (youdomainname.com or yourdomainname.com/file) of the site that you want to track the clicks. Save and add the code on your webpage.

Now you will be able to view the channel reports in the advanced report page. Choose "Adsense for content", the date range and select the channels data button.

Choose any number of active channels by holding down the CTRL key. Next click on "display report".

In order to make your Adsense earnings profitable, choose the highest paying keywords. Create a keyword list (by making a search on Overture and Google) and use the keywords that hare more frequently requested.

Once you added keywords on your page, you need to drive visitors to this page. This is why you will have to optimize your page.

How can you do this? Firstly, think like your visitors. Think that you are a visitor...

Visit other sites dedicated to the same subject than yours in order to give you ideas on how to improve your website and how they generate more income.

Each page of your site must contain menu and navigation links related to the subject covered in each pages. The links must catch your visitors eyes in order to encourage them to click on these page links. A great way to capture your visitors attention is by giving them some gift. The word "free" is a magic word!

Another way to optimize your site is by tracking the clicks on your Adsense links: test two or three different Adsense blocks (yes, the master word is "testing") ; when you know which one is the most profitable block, include it on your entire website.

Adsense is the easiest way to earn money but that does not mean that you have to be passive: it is necessary to be creative.

Google Adsense is a cool and easy way to make money online. It is very important to respect Google Adsense rules. Google is serious about its program integrity.

If you do not respect these rules, your Google adsense account could be deleted.

What you CANNOT do with Adsense:

Google Adsense is NOT a get quick rich program so to not add Adsense blocks on your website only to make money. You have to work hard to earn money through Adsense.

Learn Google Adsense rules. A chapter per day. Be patient and even if it may take some time to integrate the program and earn money, if you really work, you will succeed in the Adsense business.

Do NOT click on your own ads. Never!

Do NOT ask your family or friends to click on your ads.

Do NOT put your website in traffic exchanges.

Do NOT sell or trade your high page rank links.

AVOID multiple domains having the same content or the same content on separate pages, sub domains, etc.

You already learned how to use Google Adsense blocks, now, it's the time to talk about the Google Adsense Search Box.

What is it?

It is another way to earn money thanks to Google Adsense :)

All you have to do is to add the Google Adsense Search Box code on your site. Your visitors will then be able to search directly from your website without having to leave it.

If they click on the links in the result page, you earn money.

You can even add an option to your Google Search Box: to seek data contained on your site.

The Google Search Box is customizable. I personally always add two search boxes on my sites: one at the top of the navigation menu and the other one at the bottom of my articles.

Moreover, you can track the searches made from your website thanks to the Advanced Report from the Reports tab contained in you Google Adsense account; what will enable you to add articles related to these results in order to satisfy your visitors.

You know that you can earn money by adding Google Adsense blocks on your site.

Problem: you do not have a website, therefore, you cannot earn money via Google Adsense.

FALSE!

Use... blogs.

For example, with Blogger you have the opportunity to integrate Google Adsense blocks.

Another blog server, called Bloggerparty offers you the opportunity to create an account and to use your Adsense ID.

If you do not have an Adsense account yet, open a Bloggerparty account and then open an Adsense account by using your blogger link as reference.

Bloggerparty shares its Adsense incomes with you (50/50). But you can also earn more money with this thanks to their referral program (25%) and each time you post, you will earn "bloggerpartypoints" that you will be able to exchange.

There are no rules for blogging: you can write what you want. But there are some things that you can make to increase your Adsense profits.

Delimit your subject. Let's take the subject "weight loss". Do not write solely about "weight loss", but for example, develop the types of diets and write on their subject: Atkins diet, its advantages, its inconvenients, recipe examples, your progress if you are dieting...

Post frequently: this way you will attract readers who will become the faithful ones of your subjects.

Write about a subject that you know or that you like much. Post your own opinion: that will encourage the readers to post their own opinion in the comments.

Especially, have fun: you are free to do what you want. Moreover, you will earn money with the Adsense blocks that you will add on your blog.

The reason is... I built a new website.

Hey... if I want to earn money with Adsense, I have to work on it. And for me, that means: creating websites.

So, I created "Let's Lose Weight!".

Firstly, I thought to create this website with Joomla but since it is too hard to use and I would have read their instructions during six months, this website would have been online for Christmas... So, I decided not ot use Joomla.

In order to create "Let's Lose Weight!", I proceeded as follows:

- finding the template, pictures, the squeeze page graphics,
- writing a plan of the site,
- buiding my keywords list,
- finding recent and diversified articles related to the keywords list,
- finding products related to the subject of the site,
- creating the newsletter,
- finding the free gift offered to the visitors,
- creating the special offer (and deciding of its price) suggested to the visitors,
- configuring the autoresponder,
- uploading the site, images, newsletter, gifts as well as the special offer,
- testing the site and the newsletter,
- to carry out the final final improvements
- to launch the site: the Prosperity66's newsletter subscribers were the first persons having access to the site and its gifts.

Most difficult was to find the good place for Adsense blocks and their design.

"Let's Lose Weight!" is launched since yesterday evening.

Now, I have to promote this site through a squidoo lens, a blog, article directories, social bookmarking sites...

Well, just have to track the Adsense clicks and earnings of course ;-)

What do I have to do now?

Have to create the blog and start posting.

It's already done: I worked on "Let's Lose Weight Blog" yesterday.

I used a great script to create "Let's Lose Weight Blog": the design is great and Adsense optimized and I putted an auto-content script. We'll see in a few days if it works fine.

Tomorrow, I will start "Let's Lose Weight!" and "Let's Lose Weight Blog" promotion. I will keep you update on what I do.

First of all, I have social bookmarked both the site and the blog.

I usually bookmark five pages per day in order to not be black listed for spamming.

So, I bookmarked the blog's main page and five pages of the site.

I have also written my newsletter first article that I will send to my subscribers list, with the link of the site and the blog.

I also posted on my other blogs about Let's Lose Weight Blog, added this blog to Technorati, Reddit and Mybloglog.

Last week, I downloaded some reports I thought interesting for my niche sites and dedicated to the Internet marketing.

This morning, I finally read one of the downloaded reports dedicated to Adsense and... Adwords.

I never used Adwords because I am not experimented enough to hope to earn money with this kind of business.
