Law of Abudance
There is a law of abundance at work in the world whether we acknowledge it or not. It is no respecter of seasons or persons. The universe continues to expand even right now. Nature itself showcases the unrelenting evolution of plant and animal life. True, resources get depleted as time wears on but life abounds and there is always much more abundance than there is lack.
Abundance and Prosperity
- as referred to in Prosperity Scriptures
It's a fact - God wants you rich! For years, poverty has been viewed as some sort of spiritual virtue that would be good to have. This has prevented many people from experiencing an amazing life because of the guilt of having a lot of money-a perceived sin. This is simply not true. The Bible contains many prosperity scriptures that will open your mind to the abundance and prosperity God wants for His children.
The Old Testament shows us that God's will for His people is prosperity. Faith power houses like Abraham, Joseph and David had more wealth than they could spend. God established laws that promised prosperity to His people who obeyed. The oft quoted Malachi illustrates the results of the practice of giving a part of your wealth to good- a principle of the Law of Abundance.
Genesis 39:3
Now his master saw that the Lord was with him and how the Lord caused all that he did to prosper in his hand.
1 Chronicles 22:13
Then you will prosper, if you are careful to observe the statutes and the ordinances which the LORD commanded Moses concerning Israel. Be strong and courageous, do not fear nor be dismayed.
Psalm 35:27
Let them shout for joy and rejoice, who favor my vindication; and let them say continually, "The Lord be magnified, who delights in the prosperity of His servant."
Proverbs 10:22
The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.
Malachi 3:10
"Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this," Says the Lord of hosts, "If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it."
Some New Testament scriptures have often been misinterpreted as espousing poverty but when taken in context, this means spiritual poverty -- acknowledging the bankruptcy of man's soul without God. Indeed, Jesus spent much of His time with the poor and rich; never discriminating and blessing only the needy.
Matthew 25: 14
For to everyone who has, more shall be given, and he will have an abundance; but from the one who does not have, even what he does have shall be taken away.
John 10:10
I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
2 Corinthians 8:9
Jesus Christ became poor, so that you through His Poverty might become rich.
Philippians 4:18
Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God.
3 John 1:2
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
