Protein Shake Basics
First of all, let me get the basics out of the way. What is a protein shake? By definition a protein shake is a blended drink which contains a large amount of protein for the purpose of providing your body with the extra nutrition it needs. Now initially protein shakes were mainly for athletes and bodybuilders, but thanks to an increased awareness of being healthy and our overall well being, the resulting increase in exercise has brough protein shakes to the mainstream.
