Alex Mercer, the player's avatar, is able to consume the bodies of those he has beaten and killed, giving him access to their memories, their experiences, their biomass and their physical forms. Alex can also shapeshift into more specialized forms for attack, defense or sensory enhancement. All of these together are intended to give player multiple ways to complete their objectives. InFamous vs Prototype ... Let it begin!
Now that you have Sucker Punch and Radical Entertainment coming out with pretty much identical games with a slightly different premise, it will be up to gamers to decide which one is more worthy of their gaming dollar. From reading early reviews my gut feeling is that Prototype seems more fun while Infamous seems more challenging.
If you could get just one game, which one would it be?

Prototype is my favorite. I've beaten both. What I hated about infamous was the main attack - it just shot tiny sparks, and you had to keep hitting hit a ton of times just to kill one guy. Would've been better to hold it down. Visually infamous takes the cake, along with cinematics and story. But Prototype has such an addicting gameplay, along with a Power Upgrades system that blows it out of the water. Infamous' upgrade system sucked. It only had like 3 cool unlocks.

After playing both (prototype on 360) i have to say infamous takes it in most departments, better story and delivered in a better way, visually prototype has nothing on infamous, prototype is bland with no real lighting effects, both great games but INFAMOUS is the best imo

Your Prototype questions answered
- Where can i download the demo for Prototype?
- According to PlayStationLive the Prototype will be released for the PlayStation Network (PC & Xbox 360 Live also) in early June. Anyone that saw the early '10 reasons to play' video will almost certainly be first in line to download the demo when it does come.
- When is the Prototype release date?
- Publisher Activision has confirmed that the open world action game will ship to stores in the US on June 9. The folks in Europe get the game a little later; it arrives for that territory on June 12.
- Will there be an online mode? or co-op?
- Prototype was originally going to contain an online co-op mode but it was dropped later in development so that the game could meet its 2009 release date.There is a possibility that a co-op mode will be added later as dlc so we'll keep our eyes on this one for sure.

That worm chick was tough. But to beat her I mostly went away from her as far as I could and hid on a building. I'd fight off the Hunters, consume them..but mostly consume infected people. Then I'd run back up, when she was kind of in the "limbo stages", where she doesn't shoot at you or anything. Then quickly jump from a building near her, as you are going down, hold the buttons to create a devastator. Then gtfo of there. Repeat. Kinda a cheap way, but their bosses always seem pretty difficult. I still haven't beaten the last one..I was _so_ close today, he had a sliver of health left..but then the time ran out :-(

- dude, press circle near a guy to grab him, then, press triangle, a small cutscene showing you kill him happens, then the game resumes, you will get the health, and the memory or power, thats all i got.

- Look, its great, but honestly, I am not done, anybody with some advice on how to kill greene as the wierd worm thing, post it, cus I need help.

- Use sprint to dodge her attacks n use sprint grap to grap the vehicles around you n then target Greene n through the objects, it will take your time but it it really very useful. When you loose your strength then go away from Greene n defeat the hunters n consume them to regain your strength
