As I was putting this article together, I complained that there didn't seem to be an RPG available. (I like lots of gaming genres, but the RPG is probably my favorite.) And then up popped Ruin for preorder. Ruin is a full-featured hack-and-slash RPG.

Ruin is a social-action RPG which makes use of the Vita's connection to the net. It has another cool feature - you can play ruin on the PS3 or Vita and transfer your games! How cool is that. You're playing at home, then need to travel, not problem - save your game to the cloud and resume on a different device.

Little Deviants is the title designed to show what the Vita controls can do. It's a fun set of games that make use of the rear touchpad as well as the touchscreen, and the motion sensors. It also makes use of the microphone and camera. This is a good game for getting started with the PS Vita. It has a multi-player pass around mode so everyone can get a go. Lots of fun for family gatherings and parties.

Street Fighter X Tekken for the PS Vita combines two very popular fighting game series - Street Fighter and Tekken. I've played games from both these franchises from the beginning. Cole MacGrath from inFAMOUS in in there too - it's a real fighting game mashup!

I love to spend an hour or two playing a fighting game, but I prefer to go head to head with another person. I'm not yet sure if you'll be able to play Street Fighter X Tekken in 2-player mode - I hope so.

The Vita needs a fighting game and this looks like a great formula.
