Playstation 3 Trophy Cards

We will start off with the site that I think is best for what is now known as 'Trophy Whores' and that is PS3TROPHIES.CO.UK. This site was made by trophy collectors for trophy collectors, the only problem is that you have to manually insert all your trophy information (it is easy to do but time consuming). It is, in my opinion, the best site for Playstation 3 trophy collectors. It comes with its own forum which has sub-sections for every trophy game their is including sections for games that are not out yet but they have the trophy information for them. The site gives you up to date information on any newly announced trophy game.

If you need help in your trophy hunting, each and every trophy has its own tip section where users can leave tips on how to get that particular trophy and most of the games have got user created trophy guides for all the trophies. The site is also particularly good if you would like some help trophy boosting.

PS3TROPHIES.CO.UK also has the best leaderboard I have seen yet. It comes with its own user based anti-cheat system - ie if you suspect and can prove someone has inserted trophies they don't have you can have them banned from the system. Check it out you won't be disappointed, the only main downfall is that it is so slow to enter your trophy information, but when its done its done and if you keep up to it adding trophies whenever you get them you won't really mind the slowness anymore.

Playfire has dubbed itself a social networking site designed by gamers for gamers. Unlike the ps3trophies site it is not exclusive to the Playstation 3 as it also covers the XBox360, Wii and the PC.

On Playfire you can create separate gamer card for both the Playstation 3 and the XBox360 so it is more of an all rounder type site. All you have to do is give Playfire your PSN username and it will automatically create your card for you and keep it updated. This site is more popular than the ps3trophies site, mainly because it isn't exclusive to the Playstation 3 and probably partly because of its social networking capabilities. If you like the notion of leaderboards then Playfire is among the best and since they updated to the automatic updating card all the cheaters have thankfully disappeard, even though the odd glitch card may show up now and again.

I have noticed that nearly everyone that has a Playfire trophy card do not have the link set correctly - as in if you click on the card to view someones trophy's instead of taking you to that person's profile it takes you to the create trophy card page. Basically, what I'm saying here is .... what is the point in bragging about the trophies you have if people can't view them?

So here is the fix ... look in the code and locate the bit that says -

http://www.playfire.com/a/create_widget

and replace it with

http://www.playfire.com/(your playfire account name)

ie. http://www.playfire.com/ArizonaSnow

Battletracker is the latest of the trophy card sites and this one is the best one yet for trophy cards (its leaderboard isn't as competitive as PS3Trophies yet). The Battletracker trophy card updates itself once a day directly from your PS3 trophy information. All you have to do is add 'Battletracker' to your PSN friends and then go to the site and copy the code for your trophy card and that is it, you can then forget you have it as no updating or adding trophy information is necessary.

Personally I think that Battletracker is dieing as it now takes ages for the cards to be updated (the last card update now was nearly a fortnight ago - at the time of this edit). This could be due to Playstation moving the trophy information to a new securer server, making Battletracker harder to update.

Alternatively if you would like a gamercard to show your Resistance 2 or Killzone 2 online competitive stats get yourself a gamercard as shown below. Please note I suck at online competitive so my gamercards are rubbish.
