PSP Downloads
PSP Downloads - extremely useful if you're trying to find a game that is out of production or a movie that you'd like to see. But there can be problems if you don't use a good site.

Best invention ever?
Oh yes...
Now, I think that the PSP is one of the greatest inventions ever, up there with the wheel, flight and the stuffed crust pizza. Since it burst into life in 2005, it has quickly established itself as the best handheld gaming and multimedia console on the planet. I've had mine for nearly 2 years and the hassle that it's saved me from is priceless. It means that I can put my headphones on and watch a movie, listen to some music or play a decent game while my missus and clan can watch some guy 'remodelling' somebody's house/life/wardrobe without them driving me crazy. A good PSP Downloads site is pretty much essential for me and, if you have a PSP, I'm sure you'll find one just as useful.
Be careful out there..
Lots of nasty things about
Be very careful though which sites you visit and use. There are a few very good ones, but there are also a LOT of bad ones. At best you'll have good clean files with fast download speeds and no problems. At worst you'll have PSP Downloads that take forever and infect your computer with all kinds of nasty things that will take the rest of your life to get rid of such as adware, spyware, viruses etc. The good PSP Downloads sites will have utilities and instructions on how to copy (and in some cases convert) the files from your computer to your PSP, the bad ones will leave you on your own to wing it. You will be far better off finding one of the PSP Downloads sites that you pay for rather than one of the illegal free sites. It may cost you a bit of money (around $35-$40 for lifetime membership on the one that I use) but how much will it cost you in time and trouble if your computer picks up some malware from a dodgy download and you have to pay someone to fix it? So what do I need?
Read on, er, MacDuff
If you sign up to a good, reputable PSP Downloads site, they'll have the instructions for you to download the files. Each site will be different in some ways. To download your files from your computer to the PSP, you'll need a USB-A to USB-Mini-B cable, a memory stick (the bigger the better, I buy 2gb sticks from the Far East through a certain auction site..) and a PC or Mac. That's just about it. Hook them up, tell the PSP to use the USB Connection and your computer will find it as another drive. It's then simply a matter of transferring files from the computer to the relevant folder on your memory stick. Once the file is copied over, just browse to it on your PSP and you're done!
Is that it?
Just about!
That's the basics of using PSP Downloads. Go find yourself a site, pay a bit of cash and you'll have yourself months and months of good cheap fun!
