Astrology: The position of the planets are used to understand the world around us and the character and destiny of individuals.

Chakras: Spinning wheels of energy that enable psychic development and spiritual communication.

Circle: The format used for spiritual connection, for example people sit in circle for meditation and other practises.

Clairvoyance: This literally means 'clear sight', making a clairvoyant someone who sees clearly. A true clairvoyant can get a picture in their mind's eye which will be very useful information for a reading.

Clairaudience is 'clear hearing'. Clairaudients can hear spirit voices within their minds which provide guidance in their readings.

Clairsentience: individuals who have a heightened awareness, but do not actually see or hear things, but are able to 'sense'. Previosuly they were known as 'Seers'.

Crystal Ball: A spherical glass or crystal ball where pictures and images are seen, which are often used as a focus for Psychics and Clairvoyants. Most readers take a long time to be able to see the images, that can either be literal or symbolic.

Divination: The spiritual origin of fortune telling methods or to gain an insight into a question .

Dowsing: The use of rods, pendulums, or other devices to search for water, minerals, energy lines, etc

Ghosts: Many people believe and think they have seen a ghost. Ghosts are disincarnate spirits who are yet to pass on after a physical passing. There could be any number of reasons why a ghost is hasn't passed on yet.

Medium: A medium is an individual who can sense the other side and communicate with spirits of the deceased. Mediums can deliver messages from departed love ones and aim to provide evidence of life after death.

Ouija Board: Is an flat board with numbers, letters and symbols which was used by the Victorians as a method of communicating with the spirit world.
Poltergeists: An invisible spirit which causes physical activity in a room or a building, for example moving objects. .

Psychic: A psychic can obtain impression through non-rational means, such as visions, sounds, sensations and dreams. It is said that that everyone is psychic to some degree, and through training and practice these abilities can be enhanced.

Seance: A gathering to attempt to communicate with spirits.
