We created psyNY with the intent of providing an easy, fast and reliable service that enables efficient sharing and publishing of psytrance event information online, a complete calendar of psychedelic events in New York. Why not harness the full potential of the internet for communication? Our goal is to reach not only the regulars, but the casual trancers out there and visitors from other parts of the global village, as well as anyone new to the scene. So we'll do all the dirty work for you - culling the mailing lists, reading the forums, finding obscure flyers on filthy nightclub floors - and in return all you will need to do is check back for regular updates.

The founders of psyNY have been immersed in psychedelic trance culture since it first arrived in New York, during the Fall Equinox of 1996. Many parties have occured in New York City since that first party nearly 10 years ago, and many promoters have come and gone.

Our goal is to be the leading psytrance events service.

We're doing this by:

• Making it incredibly easy for event organizers, promoters and venues to publicize their events.
• Event information entered into psyNY (by us and by users) is republished multiple times through media channels, ensuring widespread distribution.
• Building an advertising network around the psytrance events ecosystem.
