It seems that Paypal has changed its policy regarding doing business with PTC sites. This means that most established PTC sites will be looking into other payment processors like AlertPay or E-gold.

This is a list of known scams that I have managed to compile and is definitely not exhaustive. There are other sites, especially new ones, that may not have revealed their 'true colors' yet. So, be careful with them. And even paying sites can suddenly become non-paying sites.

As a general warning:
1. PTC/PTR sites that pay high amounts per click or high payouts would not be sustainable and most likely be scams. Which advertiser would be willing to pay $1 or more per click or email?

2. Be careful with sites on free hosting. If the owner can't afford a site, how can he pay you.

3. Scripts that are free or are easily hacked.

In addition, check my daily updates on PTC sites (which is on the section after this list). Check it out for warnings and other useful information.

The scam sites are listed in Alphabetical Order, starting with Numbers, and then Letters. In the brackets, I tried to indicate the source and not sustainable means that it is not possible for the site to pay the high amounts of money they promise.

I try to add new updates everyday and the lens is growing. I would recommend that you use Ctrl-f to search for information, but it only works for FireFox and not for Internet Explorer.
