What is a paid to click site??
A place that advertisers and fellow bloggers/website owners use to market their site, products or services. You are given ads to view and paid a certain amount to view them. Thus giving the above mentioned persons traffic to their site and giving you some cash.
So basically at a PTC sites you are paid to click advertising. You click links, you click on emails you receive, you surf ads. The main goal is to click.
If the site you are looking at is offering outrageous amounts of money per click, most likely they are a scam. If you are on a site where you have to click forever just to get a penny then I wouldn't waste my time.
I you are wanting to advertise your blog, website or Squidoo Lens you can use the money made from clicking to purchase your own links!!
Many paid to click sites also have PTSU offers, Paid to Sign Up. For a PTSU offer you sign up for another GPT or PTC site that you are not a member of yet.
How much money can you make on these sites? Well that all depends really on you. Do you have time to check the sites everyday? Do you have a blog where you promote the sites you are using? Do you have any referrals? All of these things factor in on the amount you will actually make.

Don't sign up for more than you can handle.
Try and make sure you are signing up for sites that have a good reputation. If you are not sure what sites are scammers and what sites aren't, check here.
When I do my clicking I have several windows open, I have at least 4 PTC sites going at one time. Then I usually open another window to check email or read my favorite blogs.
