PTSD and Trauma Therapy in Banbury

Here at The Paloma Centre in Banbury in Oxfordshire we have developed ways in which PTSD and Trauma may be subject to a blend of therapies, customised to the needs of the individual, free from the constraints of any one specific "cure". Some therapies that we employ are CBT, Hypnotherapy, EFT, Counselling and NLP techniques such as the "fast rewind" (or Human Givens) technique and others more akin to the modern EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprogramming).

Trauma arises in many different circumstances in everyday life, rape, assault or robbery for example, not just in the heat of battle, and the effect is different for everyone: the only common factor is the manner in which it debilitates and limits the enjoyment of life for the individual.

We offer a range of therapies which, in combination, offer a release from these effects in a caring environment. The Armed Services and Emergency Service personnel (and ex-service personnel) and their families are particularly welcome at discounted rates.

Great lens you have here, 5 stars for you!!! Just to add on your wonderful writing, EFT training is an invaluable tool in reducing, even eliminating, the psychological aftereffects of traumatic loss. It is hard to estimate how much unnecessary suffering could be alleviated if EFT was readily available to people in times of crisis. It is my hope that as more and more people become proficient in its use, and as research supports its effectiveness, EFT will be a frontline trauma treatment method.
