Puggle Puppies
Because Puggles are a cross it can be difficult to predict exactly what they will look like but one thing is for sure they always look cute!
Most Puggles have a fawn, tan and black colour. Have a wrinkled muzzle, short legs and a curly tail.
Although they are a cross between two pedigree dogs they are not a pedigree dog in their own right.
The Beagle Parent
The Beagle has a nice gentle nature and is highly intelligent. Good with children although this breed can be very naughty and requires firm handling.
Because they were bred as a hunting dog if they get the scent of anything they tend to be off. The last you see of them is a tail disappearing into the distance! Fortunately this trait does not appear to have been passed down to the Puggle.
The Pug Parent
They have a fine glossy coat and are mostly black, fawn, apricot and silver. They have wrinkled foreheads and a strong muscular body. The Pugs tail should be tightly curled.
They are classed as a toy breed and weigh in at around 17 pounds. Their temperament is playful, charming and happy.
Pugs do have some health problems mostly associated with breathing and in regulating their temperature.
Why would you want a Puggle as a pet?

Looking after your Puggle
- Can you afford to buy and maintain him? (Purchase price, Vets fees, food,insurance..)
- Do you have the time required to train him?
- Are you at work all day (No dog should be left alone for long periods)
- Can you give him the exercise he needs?
- Can you keep him for 10-15 years?
- Will you never neglect him
The famous line "A dog is for LIFE not just Christmas" springs to mind. Be very sure you can commit to your dog for life before buying one.
Good luck in finding your perfect dog.
Warning - Do your own research
People who own these farms are interested in money not the puppies welfare. These dogs tend to be unsocialised and transported long distances, they don't have their puppy "Shots" and are often in poor condition.
If you want a Puggle puppy be sure to research your breeder first! Don't just buy the first puppy you see. Ensure your new puppy has come from an "Ethical Breeder"
Your Puggle Puppy can live for 9-14 years a few extra weeks doing your research isn't going to make any difference.
