Pulaski Curio Cabinet

Being basically an untutored man when it comes to matters of taste and culture, I was totally at sea when the light of my life whispered ever so lovingly that she wanted a Pulaski. Never heard of that one before and it immediately brought about a tidal wave of panic about my inadequacies in the area of romantic techniques, for a Don Juan I've never been, not once ever.

So it was unimaginable relief for me to eventually figure out that what she wanted was a display cabinet - a Pulaski curio cabinet to be more specific. And a great advantage to her for I have been boxed in by my ignorance into a state of utter defenselessness.

Turns out Pulaski has been one of the best-known names in the business, for ages. They've been around since 1955, about the same time that Amerigo Vespucci landed on the shores of (where else but) America. They take their name from a town in Virginia and seriously now, they have perfected their craftsmanship in cabinetry to such an extent that their name is synonymous with curio cabinets par excellence.

The Pulaski lineup includes traditional as well as contemporary glass curio cabinets, corner curio cabinet, wall curio cabinets, solid wood curio cabinets, and many other variations on the theme. That's what the apple of my eyes tells me anyway and who am I to argue? She knows best.

So off we went to the Curio Cabinets Corner to browse among the Pulaskis. Did she get what she wanted? No prizes for guessing...
