Speaking in public is a great way to build confidence and influence those around you to whom you are talking too.

Many have attained this skill by watching and learning from other speakers who they use as a public speaking guide.

There are those that also learn by having one of the most important characteristics, and that's having passion.

Having passion is a must when presenting a speech to an audience,it shows you are genuine and real,people will most likely be interested in you and what you have to say...so PASSION is definitely what you must acquire in order for one to be a great public speaker,so be passionate and use it as a public speaking guide.

When public speaking it is in contrast with a lot of things in life,such as simplicity and the need for confidence.

When doing your presentation make sure you have three important key points to support your theme. And keep it simple.

When you speak in public you shouldn't go any further than 20 to 25 minutes,Be aware you could lose your audiences attention. Its good to have a break after 20 minutes so your audience can refresh and be ready for your next presentation.

Make sure your audience is aware of your presentation,it may be a good idea to highlight the topic and the important key points of the talk so it gives the audience structure, in their minds.

Just like everything else, It's gets easier with practice.

Practice is one of the most important steps to speaking with confidence.

Start practising with family and friends and ask for their honest opinions.(always get feedback)

Start practising by reading and memorising a line from your speech to a family member or friend. (always keep eye contact)This is a great way to practise and to use as a public speaking guide. As Time goes on you will in no doubt have accumulated the skills needed to go on and become great.

Speaking of being great,if one can talk by memorising the speech and talk without one,(speech) by going with the flow and can utilise that combination,you will indeed be up there with the best known speakers.

There have been many great speakers throughout history,and I can guarantee that everyone of them used a public speaking guide in order to help them. Weather it be any one of the things that I have written in my article.

It could be passion,confidence,simplicity or even fear one of the great motivators. Any one of these things could be a potential public speaking guide.

Whatever you do don't be boring! you don't want to put your audience to sleep the last thing you want is people falling asleep during your talk.

It's not only a confidence killer but it is also embarrassing.

Don't fall into the trap of negative talk or negative thinking!

Although it is quite normal to be like that you must erase those thoughts from your mind, they are the dream killers, not only for talking to people speaking success but for anything in life,you must surround your self more with stuff that are positive.

The more positivity around you, will eliminate self doubt and negative thoughts.Now use that as a public speaking guide!
