Homemade Pumpkin Cake Recipe
Pumpkin cake is basically a spice cake with pumpkin in it. It is perfect for Fall holidays. Pumpkin cake can be served alone or topped with a smooth cream cheese frosting to add sweetness. No Thanksgiving table is complete without a pumpkin cake on the dessert table.

Pumpkin Cake Recipe
Ingredients
- 700g pumpkin
- 30g dessert grapes
- 100g sugar
- 100g butter
- 2 eggs
- 350-400g flour
- 6g baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 180C.
2. Prepare the pumpkin by peeling its skin. Cut into cubes and cook with 10cl water for 20 minutes. Mash and reserve to cool.
3. In a small bowl, add in cool water and place the dessert grapes.
4. In another bowl, whip the eggs with sugar. Add the butter, baking powder and half flour.
5. Toss in the pumpkins, cinnamon powder and second part of the flour. Mix thoroughly.
6. Dip the dessert grapes and add the dough.
7. Place the dough on a round cake tin with baking paper and some oil.
8. Bake in oven for 40 minutes.
9. Serve with whipped cream.
