Pumpkin Pie French Toast

Pumpkin Pie French Toast

This is a quick and ingenious way to use leftover pumpkin pie filling. Just dip some bread, cook it in a pan and you're ready to serve.

Your pie filling already includes milk, eggs and cinnamon - the ingredients needs for delicious French toast.

Step 1: Dip the Toast

Dip the Toast

First, preheat your skillet to medium heat. The warmer it is when you start cooking, the better.

Now dip both sides of your bread slices into the pie filling. Because it's thick, you may need to use a spoon to place it on some of the slices of bread.

Supplies Needed

These are the Supplies that are needed :

- Leftover pumpkin pie filling
- Sliced Bread
- Icing Sugar and Syrup, both optional

Also, keep on hand flat dish for the filling, fork, large non-stick skillet and spatula for flipping. If your skillet isn't non-stick, you will need to put some oil in it before cooking.

How much French toast you'll be able to make will depend on the amount of pie filling you have left. You can probably get about 4 slices out of each half cup of filling you have.

Step 2: Place on the Skillet

The fun part :

Cook until lightly browned on both sides of your bread.
