Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
After my kids carve their pumpkins, I roast the seeds!
I searched the internet for good recipes but I think I like my recipe the best.Ingredients:
Raw pumpkin seeds washed
2 tablespoons salt
Water
Soak the seeds overnight in salt water.
Drain seeds and pat dry with paper towel.
Layer seeds on cookie sheet and sprinkle lightly with fine salt.
Cook until lightly brown at 200 degrees for about 2 hours. A lower temperature allows for a slow roast.
Keep an eye on seeds and stir occasionally.

- Hey Kari! One of my favorite pumpkin spice treats are pumpkin cookies. They are so easy too! You get one box of spice cake mix, one small can of pumpkin, and one bag of mini semi-sweet chocolate chips. You mix those three ingredients together and drop small amounts onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. They are so yummy and they never last more than a day or two at my house!
