Now that I've Squidoo'ed, Now What?
So, I found Squidoo when I was looking for something else. I signed up, came up with an idea for a great lens, then forgot about it for a few weeks.
I kept coming back, but it was just too hard, I thought, to get my thoughts organized for the layout, which was the most confusing of all.
Then I went to the Marshall County Blueberry Festival. I thought, wow, there are a lot of people here, yet so few people really know about this festival. How can I get the word out and help grow this amazing festival?
I had three lenses started, but nothing on them, just some ideas that I wasn't sure how to develop. I deleted those, and then decided to create one on the Marshall County Blueberry Festival. That's where it all began, and that was where I fell in love with Squidoo.
I was able to easily make a page showcasing this local festival, and it looked GOOD! I was proud of myself, so then it was time to move on.
My goal now is to create ten great lenses, including this one, before moving on to making more.
I dream of being a giant squid someday, but I know that it'll take a lot of hard work and lots of amazing ideas. It's a goal though, and one that I'll continue to work toward.
