What is Punky Jewelry?
Punky Jewelry was created in 2007 after a couple years of beading for fun, making gifts for friends and family. I mostly sell my jewelry on Etsy, a great site for buying and selling handmade items. Beyond that I love creating jewelry by custom order.
Surprisingly enough, the punky in punky jewelry comes from my cat, pumpkin. He started out life with the name pumpkin but we soon realized he was a bit of a punk. We started calling him punkin' and eventually this led to his name "punky".
I think there is a bit of "punky" in all of us so when I was searching for a name to use on etsy, I decided to use the name I've been uttering with love (and with frustration) for the last four years that usually most often fits my mood and my cattitude.

What is Etsy?
Etsy has a forum for every need you have...site help, bugs in their software, ideas on how to improve Etsy, crafting and business, promotions area (great place for buyers to "shop"), and an ETC. area for anything else. You can find the forum here: Etsy forum
Poker Jewelry
One of my non-craft hobbies is playing poker for both fun and for money. It was only natural for me to be drawn to making poker-themed jewelry and accessories. So far I've only made bracelets and wine glass charms in a poker theme but am looking forward to more creations in the future.
