    When I volunteered at a nursing home the residents enjoyed making dog treats in their activity room. They would sell them at their festival. They might enjoy these.

    Your pupcake recipe looks good but it is NOT true that garlic and raw meat are bad for dogs. MANY holistic and natural foods for dogs (the only way you should feed your pets) contain garlic and MANY people feed their dogs commercially prepared (they come frozen) and homemade RAW meat diets. I work at a health food store for dogs so I know this is fact.

    Thank you for the information. I had researched at several dog websites and listed the foods that I found that were recommended and not recommended for doggies. I'm sure all pet owners want the best for their loved animals. I don't think there are any health food stores for dogs near by home, but it there were, I'm sure Angel would love to try all the yummies! :)

    Thanks! My kitty cat brother, Sebastian, always gets jealous when we bake pupcakes. We'll have to do a little recipe testing in the kitchen to see what we can come up with for felines. ~ Angel

    What an adorable idea! I know my "little girl" would love making these. (She is not really so little. She is part Golden Retriever and weights 70 lbs, but she thinks she is a lap dog :)

    Yes, I had it lightened a bit, but now my hair seems to be shedding more frequently (and growing everywhere)! I've heard it said that people and their dogs look similar, so, it must be true!! ~ Pamela

    Angel, this is very well written -- no dog could have done a better job! I used to have a Golden Retriever -- his name was Baron - so I'm very fond of retrievers.

    Pamela - this is funny, clever and creative, besides having a nice practical side with the Pupcake recipe you shared. Pamela and Angel make a good team. Just don't mix up Angel's Pupcakes with the family Cupcakes! :-) It would be a new 'taste challenge'.

    Sure ~ dogs are great chefs! It's so much fun to cook, although my family seems to get so upset when I lick the countertop! I don't know why, I'm only trying to clean up after myself! ~ Angel
